I made a couple of skins of invisible characters, pop-culture icons, and historical people and other objects.
Just click the images of each character to equip as a skin for your account.
Harry Potter in Cloak of Invisibility
My Opinion- I think I did a pretty good job modeling his face and in particular his lighting-bolt scar. I even made it to where it looks like he's holding his wand, and the 3D layer of hair is well done, and to top it I made it look like he is wrapping his invisibility cloak around his body.
The Holy Spirit
My Opinion- Well I couldn't really find a picture reference to this one besides the millions of overexposed doves. I think I'm going to need more input as what my depiction of what the Holy Spirit looks like may be different then what the majority of people think. Please leave ideas for ways to improve this skin.
Perseus with helmet
My Opinion- This mythological Greek hero is based off of a picture I found of a spartan soldier. I tried my best painting the armor so that it looks rusted and battle-worn. If you look closely you can see blood stains as well. He is wearing the Helm of Invisibility given to him by Zeus to strike down evil-doers.
Casper the ghost
My Opinion- This is an extremely cute skin I made, however making this one was tricky, since Casper has a wispy tail rather then legs. That would be fine except for the fact that I'm forced to give Casper two legs. Hopefully you guys can try to imagine one leg as the wispy gas and the other as a sort of contrail following him.
A Roanoke Island settler
My Opinion- Don't tell anyone but to make this I just ripped off one of the Peasant skins and changed his clothes to something similar to a stereotypical Pilgrim or if your more imaginative, the Puritan guy on the Quaker Oats box. Those familiar with the story know that the settlers of Roanoke Island mysteriously disappeared in 1587.
Frodo wearing the One Ring
My Opinion- I think I did an excellent job an recreating the scared/open-mouthed impression of Frodo as he is being corrupted by the One Ring. The colors and clothing are accurate to the movie trilogy and I even remembered to give him hairy feet. The shading and detail on this character might be the best job that I have done yet.
USAF B-2 Spirit
My Opinion- I managed to somehow make a stealth-winged aircraft look great on a template designed for humanoid characters. All shades of black are incorporated into this magnificent bomber. In-game this skin gives you the appearance of flying around like a plane (although your still limited to low altitude flight.) Best of all, you can silently connect to any server without displaying an IP Address, you'll be completely off an Administrators radar!
Hope you guys enjoyed my skins!, please tell me what you think of them, criticism is welcomed, also please suggest some ideas for the Holy Spirit skin or other skins.
This is what we veterans like to call "trolling". Pay him no heed if you don't find his descriptions humorous, and if you do find them humorous then you have a good laugh.
