I set off with a very bold challenge: "Atkana" I said, "You're going to skin everything in Skyrim!"
Yeah... originally I gave up and only made 3 robes but I decided to carry on, not necessarily to skin everything but to skin a decent amount.

Robes and robe hoods
The first was lovingly crafted, taking several hours and multiple start-overs to create; the others are essentially lazy recolours -Novice robes-
All the others are based off this. It took me ages to make but looks great on my 'lil Argonian. -Apprentice robes-
Just a recolour and a slight edit. -Adept robes-
Guess which of these skins was recoloured using a monitor with odd colour settings. I attempted to add the pretty design on the back of the collar but it looked terrible and was removed. -Novice hood-
-Apprentice hood-
-Adept hood-
Dragon priest masks
No hoods (they look terrible) and you get 'em as I get them (helpful hints to their location are appreciated ) -Volsung-
-Nahkriin-
-Morokei-
-Otar-
New!Morrowind
New!Armour
New!Bonemold
I was playing Morrowind not too long ago and decided this must be skinned. It was based off of both the normal bonemold armour and the Hlaalu version.

Thread updates:
Most recent:
Fixed skins 'broken' by an update I wasn't aware of
Update #4:
Added Morrowind section
Added Armour sections
Added Bonemold and Thieves guild armour
Did it just get louder? Added some noisy skins
Update #3
Added 'Base skins' section
Added "Breaks-blocks-faster" and "Kraaft" base skins
Update #2
Added an 'installation' tutorial
I realised I'd left more than just the palettes on the mask downloads - silly me! The masks have been replaced with clean versions
Update #1
Added Novice, Apprentice and Adept hoods
Added Volsung, Nahkriin, Morokei and Otar Priest masks
Updated some of the skin downloads with 'clean' skins (I left the palettes on them! (They're still on the priest masks))
I learnt what I consider a lot of useful skinning stuff and had to use quite a bit of artistic license when making these skins, the lighting in Skyrim is terrible and you can't really see every angle. I'd appreciate some feedback and you may use these skins for personal use
How can I edit my own character's head onto these?
The easiest way to do this is to use SkinEdit's partpicker function, where the robe is placed as a 'part' over your skin (you would need to add the robe skin to the 'parts' folder beforehand). Another straightforward method would just be to copy and paste the robe part onto another skin, but that requires more know-how of the program you're using.
As a note for the topic, I'm planning on perhaps continuing and adding more Skyrim skins :happy.gif:
Wow, been looking for skyrim templates I could possibly use for my current skin. And you just answered my prayers :smile.gif:
plan on doing master, expert, and arch-mage outfits?
I have access to them within the game, and I have considered it. I might do all of those except the arch-mage outfit as it looks too complicated (although I might find out later that it's actually easy to do, we'll see :smile.gif:)

I tried to make a video (5 times) but it didn't work properly! I made a picture tutorial instead:

THanks so much your the best! :biggrin.gif:
Hmmmmm im trying to put it on my Favorite Skin But it will only let me just the robe on?
These Are amazing! I suggest to add a human template and imperial and stormcloak armor to start off with actual knight gear. Then adding sheathed swords and the such.
EDIT: You could also add different colors for the argonians and khajits.

I'm not too sure if I'm going to do base human skins, mainly because they're easy to make and have the potential to be massively varied. The palette for each base skin is in the top left of the image, if you have the know-how you can change the palette to suit your taste; that's actually what I made a video for but I decided I didn't want to upload it.
Thread update time: The gallery now has a proper name: 'Skins of the Nirn' after the planet TES is set on. I've also added Bonemeal armour from Morrowind and Thieves guild armour from Skyrim, with noisy versions:

Thanks :happy.gif:
I might attempt them at some point, thanks for the suggestion
The skin shows up black because those parts are blank, I left those bits blank so you can clothe your own skin with it if you want.
I use Paint.net for editing and LukeRay's Minecraft Skin Viewer for viewing and taking screenshots :smile.gif:

Erm, of course I made the hoods! I'd look like an idiot if I hadn't made them
*Frantically opens Paint.net*
See I er... said I'd made them!
I've also got something else, they'll be added to the OP when I get around to updating it :wink.gif:

I love the hoods and the masks are amazing! But i cant figure out how to put em on :/ If you give me a tut vid that would be much appreciated!
Thank you :smile.gif:

Refer to the "I make them as I get them" bit in the Dragon priest section
Thank you
How'd you get the hood to look good? D:
I've updated the thread with 2 new base skins, one Argonian and one Khajiit:
I made a video tutorial explaining how to basically edit them, but I've got too self-conscience so I'm not uploading it >.>
Can you please add wolf armor from the companions? :smile.gif:
EDIT: You could also add different colors for the argonians and khajits.
Might do, although the Archmage's robes are possibly too detailed.
Wolf armour looks doable, I might do it in the future.
They're most likely what I'm going to do next - although getting pictures of them will be a pain!
