Design all desired assets up to 1.8 (Because reasons)
Set up modded 1.12 and do all remaining vanilla assets to be redone (Initial Release)
Biomes O' Plenty Support
BrighTime Resource Pack brings a soft/cartoon-ish feel to Minecraft, as well as a few minor stuff
- Changes all kinds of blocks - about 90% of them
- Soft-looking landscapes
- Bonus: Replaces the "11" record with "Meatcraft", a Super Meat Boy remix medley also by C418
- Biomes O' Plenty support to be added soon
You might have noticed this does not cover all the textures in the game, I have decided to leave these specific textures out because I'm afraid redoing them would be too similar to the default kind. But the untouched textures would blend in anyway given it's 16x. Same with other mods. I was going to go for a 32x pack at first, but went with 16x instead due to composition breaking with other 16x textures. Me and my OCD.
In case you're wondering what textures I've left out
- Cake, Command Blocks, and Glazed Terracotta (The Glazed Terracotta looks too good to be redone)
- All mobs, with the exception of Shulker (Because colors)
- Part of all non-mob entities
- GUI's (Because what if there are other ones from future versions or mods?)
Update: Added a small first-post checklist and have done all planned textures up to 1.8. This afternoon I have managed to set up 1.12 with the same mods I had before (In 1.8, because I found frustration in re-downloading everything for each update). Currently, I can only do the beta version of BoP 1.12 as it's the only available download of the mod.
Also, I was working quite fast these past few days. I'm nearly done all blocks up to ID 200 (Where the beginning of the new End stuff are). I have not re-done all textures to this point. Like I said before, I won't be re-designing mobs, but now I also decided not to re-texture items, gui, and some non-mob entities. Again, untouched textures from Vanilla and other mods are able to blend in with this pack.

Right, so I have finished the initial release of the resource pack. The main objective involving drawing up the planned vanilla textures up to the latest version has been finished. Go download if you like!
Up next, I will implement support for Biomes O' Plenty. I plan to do this right away as there is a beta port of the mod which I am using right now. I'll work on the mod expansion while we're waiting for the full 1.12 version of it.
I have begun work of the BOP expansion yesterday. Some of the biomes which the resource-pack changes up are looking pretty fantastic. I especially like some of the Autumn biomes. The leaf block colors are bright enough to make it look decent for a sharp autumn appearance.
Here's most of what I've done. I'm set to making building blocks at the moment. Plus, I may be taking a break or either work slow because I have been working pretty hard last weekend. I have also updated the Diamond/Emerald textures because I thought they were too "Over-decorative" in my opinion.
