0.22.0 update: New water and lava textures, fancy new ingots, improved netherrack, ancient debris, and netherite tools

Theme
The goal for this resource pack is to provide Minecraft with more visually appealing and defined textures. 32x is small enough to retain the game's pixel art aesthetic, but it's not so small that it interferes with the texture designs.
The pack's design is best summarized as semi-faithful stylized realism: Easily recognizable, but more realistic and detailed than vanilla. Texture designs are made with logic and immersion in mind, accounting for their crafting recipes (if any) and in-game uses.
Terms of Use
Without my personal permission or contact, you may:
-Make and distribute any videos and screenshots using this texture pack.
-Use and/or edit my textures for private use, such as for personal compilation packs.
-Use my textures for a server resource pack. Credit is optional.
If you want to gain permission to use any of this pack's textures in other ways, message me and I will get back to you as soon as I can; I can elaborate on terms that may or may not be covered here, and I can give permission to use my textures in ways that are otherwise denied. (example)I want to have for different textures for gold ore.
Is the only thing to do is making 4 different textures for gold ore, call them gold_ore.png, gold_ore1.png, gold_ore2.png and gold_ore3.png, and then turn Alternate Blocks on? Or do I have to edit the gold_ore.json?
You have to edit gold_ore.json in the blockstates folder, and make model files for each of the gold ore texture variants.
In blockstates, gold_ore.json might look like this:
Okay i have a problem, i got this too work fine. with grass and such. have you ever tried with leaves? Oak leaves to be precise, i wanted two other textures in my resource pack (including the original one(so three oak leaves textures)) i called them oak_leaves, oak_leaves1 and oak_leaves2
I edited my blockstates and models folders accordingly but it still wont work? am i the only one with this problem?

I hadn't tried variants for leaves yet, but I just made some tests for oak leaves and the new tiles didn't work for me, either. Strange.
The picks in this resource pack are a good size, I think. That said, I had to sacrifice some of the length of the heads to make the picks longer overall. I don't have any pixel space to lengthen them without altering the proportions. Oh, and the wooden pickaxe is deliberately short.
Maybe you could make random cracks for the cracked stone bricks?
Good idea. Right now there's only a single random tile for that texture, and it's uncommon. Cracked stone bricks will be greatly improved by the next update.
Another suggestion: posting scenery screenshots. How do for example forests, mesas and taigas look in this pack? How do for example ravines, strongholds and mineshafts look in this pack? How do for example (fill in) look in this pack?
Another good idea. I'll add some scenery screenshots for the next update. At first, I didn't add them because there weren't enough natural/landscape blocks finished. Now that more blocks have been finished, I should be able to find (or even build) some fully textured areas to use for screenshots.
Big update: Apple, golden apple, arrow entity, arrow item, XP orbs, title menu panorama, enderman, entity shadow, fire, tall grass, dandelion, sunflower, and azure bluet textures added.
The pack's placeholder icon has been replaced with the official icon, and cracked stone brick has new random variants. Redstone ore's random texture variants have been disabled (but not removed) until further notice due to problems with the block's normal and glowing states.
But on topic, this pack is simply amazing. There so much love and detail put into every texture you've showed us,and I- at first- mistakenly took this pack as 64px. I am also absolutely in love with your grass, it suits the alternating positions very well. Though, may I suggest that you show some pictures of what you've added before releasing the update, just to keep the thread active and well fed!

Thank you for the praise. It makes the many hours spent creating these textures worthwhile when I know they're being appreciated.
I intend to add a "News" section to the OP sometime, in which I might reveal what I've done for unreleased updates. Although, I might also make previews in separate posts if I ever notice that the thread gets stale.
Update: Bat, beacon beam, glass, blaze, book GUI, end portal, end sky, barrier item, lilac, flower pot, allium, normal and double chest, grass colormap, blue orchid, anvil, netherrack, brick block, cobweb, glowstone, raw beef, cooked beef, and boat entity textures added.
Something is wrong with the Download link. It's something about violating Google's URL shortener's terms of service.
Bah, it's because the link was to a .zip, which Google apparently don't like. Even if the .zip is completely harmless.
It's fixed, but I had to remove the "[32x]" prefix in the filename, at least for now. Using a URL shortener was the only way I could retain the "[32x]" and still make the link work.
Update: Ender pearl, obsidian, granite, cobblestone, stone slab top and side, blaze rod, sand, and dead bush textures added. Oak leaves and glowstone have been improved.

You have to edit gold_ore.json in the blockstates folder, and make model files for each of the gold ore texture variants.
In blockstates, gold_ore.json might look like this:
And in models, you would have gold_ore1.json, gold_ore2.json, and gold_ore3.json.

That's a basic example of how it works, since you could specify different variant folders, do more advanced rotations, etc. if you wanted.
I hadn't tried variants for leaves yet, but I just made some tests for oak leaves and the new tiles didn't work for me, either. Strange.
The picks in this resource pack are a good size, I think. That said, I had to sacrifice some of the length of the heads to make the picks longer overall. I don't have any pixel space to lengthen them without altering the proportions. Oh, and the wooden pickaxe is deliberately short.
I can't see anything bad on this
Good idea. Right now there's only a single random tile for that texture, and it's uncommon. Cracked stone bricks will be greatly improved by the next update.
Another good idea. I'll add some scenery screenshots for the next update. At first, I didn't add them because there weren't enough natural/landscape blocks finished. Now that more blocks have been finished, I should be able to find (or even build) some fully textured areas to use for screenshots.
The pack's placeholder icon has been replaced with the official icon, and cracked stone brick has new random variants. Redstone ore's random texture variants have been disabled (but not removed) until further notice due to problems with the block's normal and glowing states.
That's strange, they all load for me. If refreshing doesn't work, I guess the host server just won't send them to your location, for some reason.
But on topic, this pack is simply amazing. There so much love and detail put into every texture you've showed us,and I- at first- mistakenly took this pack as 64px. I am also absolutely in love with your grass, it suits the alternating positions very well. Though, may I suggest that you show some pictures of what you've added before releasing the update, just to keep the thread active and well fed!

Bah, it's because the link was to a .zip, which Google apparently don't like. Even if the .zip is completely harmless.
It's fixed, but I had to remove the "[32x]" prefix in the filename, at least for now. Using a URL shortener was the only way I could retain the "[32x]" and still make the link work.
Edit: Apparently "ender mite" is censored when it's one word. I have no idea why.
