I took some landscape photos while testing out the water textures; the mountains in Amplified are awesome. Unfortunately the water has some animation issues (Animating sprites is HARD, especially when they're transparent!), but it's working out and I like the tint and general movements of the waves so far.
I've decided to start theming the various monsters after fleshy demons. If this theme doesn't work out, I'll switch to nightmares. Think black/purple devils and beasts, but otherwise, flesh!
And this is what I was planning for when I made that cake texture originally. The shadow makes sense now, right?
Also, praise to Opl's Model Maker for being not only excellent, but eventually easy to work with, as well as free (as opposed to some other software I may have seen...)
The only issue with the cakes so far is that the particles are purple and black. I'll probably manually edit their JSON files to fix it.

I made the ladder's 3-d mesh! It sticks out a little, so it looks like both ladders or a shelf if you use ladders for decoration like that. I also redid the zombies, and they're floating ghouls now. I may remove the legs entirely. I also did the spider!
More clearly shown in this image, I completely redid the stone's hue and color to be slightly less yellow, and a bit brighter with more contrast. I also rearranged the stone bricks and removed the cracks, came up with a different mossy style, made custom models for the iron bars, made a better Chiseled Stone Brick, slightly changed the hue of the mossy cobblestone's moss, added a secondary pattern to the side of the stone slabs, got a better view of the ladder's side, added a wee bit more shading to the stone, and changed the emeralds to Amethysts. I think they're more happy.
Oh, and I also decided on the final theme for the pack! A bit dark, with happy overtones!
And finally, I updated the download link.
Also eldrich abominations for monsters. :3 If I do mod support. Thaumcraft is going to have a lot of creepy stuff.

The nether is too happy. This pack is all about happiness, but it needs some evil too.
I fixed it.
By the way, those Nether Bricks? The walls shift, merge, and split apart. Very, very subtly, thanks to interpolation. :3
Edit: I added more frames to the bricks. It's not quite so subtle anymore, but still isn't a big disturbance. It's just eerie to walk through a fortress while the walls look like they're crawling.
I made the tall rose bushes today!
Also in case you didn't notice, I got rid of those blasted poppies. >:D
