Sorry not much has been posted on this topic over the holidays, I've been more busy than I thought I would be, but I will work overtime to get as many textures out for the release of the Nuclear Winter Update as possible.

We need ideas for chainmail.
To my knowledge, we are kinda stuck on what to turn it into, because santi handled all the main stuff mainly: Exosuit, Hazmat Suit, Cobbled together military gear, Cobbled together clothes.
I am really not sure what to make it without it being seen as something extra we just added in because we were out of ideas.

I have this Idea for a nano suit like armor for the chain mail since they both have like a pattern on them.
We need ideas for chainmail.

Well all the existing armor seems to be (except for the gold)military how about either civil war or revolutionary war era uniforms.
Whats the progress to 1.7? Would like to know so I can reassure myself
There was a pretty big setback when I lost a lot of the progress toward the dark oak tree. Some of the team is putting studying time into professional pixel art, which, while slowing things down in the short run, will definitely pay back later. We have a tall fern texture now. The Nuclear Winter Update is probably going to be a lot smaller, but I will include some sounds to be played on disks with the update. Hard to make sure we're not "stealing" the music when we do that though.
I guess I can show you the fern now. What do you think?

For music, the list can go on and on. We want to capture one piece, or maybe a track of pieces from each decade or so, onto each "flash drive." This means a lot of unoriginal music. That could be a good thing. We may or may not produce original work. But one thing we definitely want to attempt to include is "The Wreck of Edmond Fitzgerald", because Santiago mentioned putting it in the pack a long time ago.

I think the shelf could be improved it looks a bit too bright and simple.
I could use a little more detail but I will re-download the pack and see if there are problems, and get back to you tomorrow.

I've been here for a loooooooooong time.
The original idea was for chainmail armor to make the player look infected or at least thats what I heard a while ago
English is not my first language, sorry for any spelling and/or grammar mistakes
Leather - Civilian motorcycle gear.
Iron - Military uniform
Diamond - Power armor
Gold - Hazmat suit
Chainmail should probably fill a gap that isn't filled now, that would look good showing up on random NPCs like zombies and skeletons.
Maybe have it be cobbled together survivor gear? Backpack, sports pads, maybe some post-apocalyptic modifications like spikes and whatnot?
