Good to see your work is floating around Feathers. You've always had such nice texturepacks and it would be a real shame to see your creations fall into the cold, dark abyss of abandonment.
... I do intend to use the current poppy texture (which is deathbell from Skyrim) for the blue orchid instead, and do something else for the poppy. I'm just not sure what, though. There aren't a lot of red flowers in Skyrim.
I've looked it up and there is mention of poppies in Tamriel (black and white varieties, I don't know if this refers to the center or the petals). I'd suggest you just model the poppies after the real thing, in a style that fits with your other flowers. As for the tulips I think that the mountain flowers would be a nice model.

For the allium, I'd check out the willow anther.

Also, for blocks and objects that aren't usually found in a Skyrim setting I would just look at the other games in the Elder Scroll series. Such as Oblivion, Morrowind, etc. The catcus-like plant called Sweetbarrel from Morrowind would look great in your texture pack! If you want more ideas, I'd be glad to help! Love your work.
EDIT:
I also just remembered an idea for the creepers. If it hasn't already been suggested, a Chaurus looks fairly similar to a creeper.

Good ideas. I've never played any other elder scroll game, though. Could you post some picks of those cactus thingys?
And some more fooling around with lighting. I hope I've managed to capture the appropriate level of moodiness.
Nice work on the lightmap, it is certainly better than the defualt one. However, I you should make the lightmap darker and make the torchlight slightly for orange. Just a thought.

Very orangey light does not look good in minecraft. You run into all sorts of trouble when you have intersections between torch light and natural light - odd red shadows, for starters. So I toned it down.

Ahh, see I hadn't thought of that. Though, having an orange hue to the torchlight would look amazing in dungeons and the like-- but your right.
You may be able to try getting some advice from Monsterfish_, the creator of Conquest. I know that he has just recently done some nice work to his lightmap. He may be able to help you if you seek him out. He knows more about it than I do; I am inexperienced, I just know what looks good and what doesn't.

If you could do the sky as it looks at night in skyrim, that would be ASTOUNDING. Also I am so looking forward to when this will be done. This is the texture pack that I have been looking for. Is there any update as to roughly when that will be or what textures you still need?

Lovely pic! I might use that as a reference. ^^
As for updates to this pack....I've actually gotten sucked back into playing skyrim hardcore again. I only meant to pop into the game to take some more screenshots for making textures, but then I found myself making a new character and going on quests and stealing treasure and and-
Sorry guys, no updates until after Christmas - I'm back with my family right now, and my tablet didn't make the plane ride.
Take this time to step away from minecraft and reconnect with the people who matter most in your life.
There's a section in the first post that covers weapons. Go take a look, if you're interested in what I've brainstormed for the different weapon/tool types.
Um...no. The style of my Dragon Dance weapons would really really not fit with this pack. I'm glad you like them, but I'm not going to replicate that look for Riverwood.
You know, you're being awful pushy with the comments you've been leaving on my threads...

Sorry but im happy you updated the rp now it looks.... BEAUTIFUL! Better call patrick:

I understand.. I would totally be in the same position if my game hadn't been stolen. So... Fun.. must.. kill.. dragons...

Nooo! come back to minecraft xD we need you more than the inhabitants of Skyrim do. No I get it, they don't call you Heather unless you want them to, and they don't tell you that your flowers are the wrong color. But please remember that just because we do not have anything witty or constructive to say it does not mean that we do not admire and appreciate your hard work.
I'm sure that when you have found enough inspiration you will come back and bring us something even greater, because... you will come back right?

Lol, I hope so. This pack is my big piece of portfolio work. My hope is to someday soon be able to apply to Bethesda for a job as a texture artist. ^^
Didn't Gamex (some dude who used to pop in from time to time) work at bethesda? I seem to remember him or someone saying they did in tau.
Anyways, you got me hooked on skyrim again too, I've got a new hardcore modlist rolling and I'm back in action. Unfortunately it means I'm getting slack with texturing and updating...

I do. I've just been on vacation (and been sick) for the past 1.5 weeks.
Are you on that server too, sharky?
Also things are looking nice here feathers, very nice indeed! Any ideas about which textures you'll work on next?

Actually, I meant these.

Wonderful! Now I can have a cactus.
