That's exactly what iOS 7 is it is one color no little discolorations that is why I hate the Default texture pack who moved the topic anyway last time I checked I posted it in MCPE:Texture Packs that was a mistake though
IMO iOS7 is crap. It has stolen features and the overall style is an Android ripoff. (sorry to hate so much)
On the sibject of the textures: as Malcolm and Copper have said-the textures are flat, and the title is misleading. Your textures are almost just like the other 'simple' packs out there. You need to work on adding depth to the textures. The app icons are not flat, nor are they highly contrasted. They are gradiented, with no borders.
Look at these, for example:
-no border
-very smooth transition from one colour to another
-Colours almost appear 'muted', but not really.
-icons are flurried (meaning that they have rounded corners)
If you want to create a pack based on iOS7 you may need to scale up the definition. 32x32 can add a lot more detail (4 times more to be exact) and 64x64 would be the prime to work at, as it looks near-HD.

What definition is the pack now? To be honest I have no idea how to scale up the definition. I used an app to create this. The borders part I understand. Thanks for the advice. I'll try to upgrade it when I have time

I believe that yours is 16x16, the default resolution. Try using your computer to make textures, mainly because it is much more easier with a mouse, even though with a phone you have full controllability. I reccommend Paint.NET or Gimp to start off with computer graphics, just search both up separately and you should be good.
It doesn't look like ios 7 at all, it just looks flat and plain. You should try making the blocks look more like application icons.
Exactly.

Message me yours if you want to trade in Animal Crossing: New Leaf or just need some friends to play with. I can also do Pokemon trades in Pokemon X(or Y), but I don't have any good stuff, and the only good stuff I have is not for trade so...send me requests anyway.

Problem is it is shaky with my mouse plus it won't be square pixels like in the texture app I am using

Which program do you use on the computer, if it's something like photoshop, right click the brush icon on the left and select the pencil tool. Most programs have a pencil tool. That's most likely the reason your pixels aren't square. You need to resize the brush to be the smallest it can be.

Oh so the smaller the pixels are the higher the definition my mouse is shaky and hard to draw with. I wish I could increase the resolution with software or something. Something else in my app is 3d previews and I don't get 3d previews on GIMP

But Gimp allows you to save your work on your computer and play it in-game
You can zoom in with GIMP to about 400% or 800% which makes it easier to use a mouse to place pixels accurately.
Honestly I think it's kind of hard to use GIMP I have used it before and it took me like 10 minutes to try and add another picture a s a layerWhy is it that all the high-ranking users all think something is wrong withe my resource pack and the low ranking users (no offense) like it

Have you ever seen a really crappy movie that everyone is raving about how awesome it is? You know, like Twilight or the Start Wars prequels when they first came out. Same thing.
Some people just like everything. Heck, a lot of people will like any sort of art or entertainment put in front of them. The average person doesn't analyze what they see, and just go based on how it makes them feel at a glance. Television has practically trained the population to turn their brains off when consuming media of any sort. This is why Michael Bay movies keeps selling: Explosions = awesome. Who cares about "plot"?
The same thing applies here. The regulars in this forum are artists. It's our nature to critique and analyze what we see. That's how we became good at what we do. Someone just passing through will take a look at your screenshot, realize that they eyes are not gushing blood, and immediately assume that it's a good pack. The artists here don't do that. Our assessment started the moment we read the title. Just the name "iOS 7" conjures up certain images and expectations since a lot of us are familiar with the style choices that went into the design of that operating system's user interface. When we see the screenshot, our first thought isn't that our eyes aren't bleeding... our thought is that you've failed to deliver what you've promised in the title.
The fact that we've all seen this pack before isn't helping you. Not only is it not what you claim it to be in the title, it's also a highly over-used style often associated with the worst sort of wanna-be types who come through here. I'm not saying that's you, but the fact that you're using a phone app rather than professional-grade software already tells us a lot about who you are and what your skill level is.
Believe it or not, we're trying to help you. Our critiques are aimed at pointing out the flaws in your pack in hopes that you will correct them and become a better artist. There is something wrong with your pack, and the experienced artists of this forum are trying to help you see that.
Incidentally, try Paint.net. It has a gentler learning curve than GIMP.

There is actually a way to create a 3d-like block preview.
Yes GIMP can be complicated to use at first, What software have you been using to make this pack?
You could try Paint.net which is another free image editor. Either Paint.net, GIMP or Photoshop are good image manipulation programs for resource pack making. Microsoft Paint is not recommended for making a pack because it can not save transparency which will cause you a lot of issues of having white spaces that should be see-through.
You should also be able to find a few tutorials on how to use image editing/manipulation software that can help you with the basics.
Is their software to make a resource pack a higher definition? BTW: I'm using Seus Texture Creator on the iPad

Application icons in minecraft that wouldn't look good. That would just look weird.

Nothing wrong with weird. Interesting art pieces can come from ideas you originally thought we're weird.

Here's samohjt's tutorial on it.
You might want to search up some GIMP tutorials first though, if you're having troubles with the basics.
