Its pretty much a redo of my old pack with the same name, but it was deleted by accident. The story of this pack (included in the README file located in the .zip).
I have always been keen on art. Specifically drawing. In 2012 I had purchased a Wacom Tablet, which introduced me to the wide world of digital art. I went berserk, it was amazing.I also had a Youtube channel (Youtube.com/damodraws) where I drew things that people requested, or what I wanted to do myself.

Texturepacks had me hooked. What I used to do was edit faithful or the default pack to suit me. This included changing all the ore blocks to a recoloured emerald texture. After a while, I became serious about texturing.
I found out about the Texture Artists Union (which I am too afraid to apply for) where they showcased new texturepacks and people who are really good.I finally decided to upload pictures of my pack to the Minecraft Forums. It was inspired by John Smith and used Vattic's Faithful as a base. In my opinion, it looked...alright.
"DONT POST 9 TOPICS GODDAMIT" was the one thing in common with the 3 commenters that left feedback. Well, they were nicer than that. Much nicer. Their feedbacks actually helped me, and I had fixed a few textures just based upon that.
Then IT happened. My entire .minecraft folder deleted. Everything. Gone. Saves, resourcepacks, mods. Everything.
TL;DR: drawing's fun.

What you've done so far looks great, but could we see some more blocks?
Also, you don't have to apply for the TAU to be able to post your stuff there. I'm sure we'd all like to see some of your work.
Thanks for the feedback! Also, yeah, I've been having issues with uploading my pictures. I'll try to get ores and some other blocks in, but I had problems with the Curse widget where you upload the resourcepack. It kept giving me an error, any fix with that?
I'll probably end up posting progress on textures at the TAU to get some more feedback.
But of course, there are a few things I noticed. Some of the ores have anti-aliasing around the edges, and some don't. They really should have it, the only place in a pack where you don't have anti-aliasing is places where you can't, like the edges on items. The embedding on the diamond also looks a little strange on the top right and bottom left, probably because of the lack of anti-aliasing. I also think the emerald should have more highlight on the upper left, like the emerald item does.
But the rest of the ores look fantastic. I always love a pack with good ores.

THIS is good news. I spent a lot of time on the ores. With probably 20 different "concepts" altogether. The iron ore, though, I tried improving (which I haven't updated here yet). As with the diamond, I've been working on it. I wasn't sure whether to make it 'under' the stone, with that flab of stone over it. or to make it like the others (embedded and shaded all the way around it). I had originally taken the emerald ore texture and made it the item (just like the diamond-same ore, same item) I then decided that it may look better with the emerald ore to be less shiny and more gritty. This was to give the illusion that the emerald item was 'polished' when you mined it.
If you added random stone CTM, why isn't it in that image? The stone tiles really badly in that image...
It is, I'm just still working on the tiling, as well as contrast, but the overlay that goes on the stone(ctm addition) is basic.
Could you please give some advice as to how to work on it? Any specific areas need adjusting? Should I restart the stone?
NEW Update:
-Changed Dark oak texture, almost added random ctm, but changed my mind
-Dark oak leaves added
-Giant Mushrooms have textures-yes, red and brown. Brown needs work, though
-Redid the planks-all are currently the same, but recoloured, hoping to change this later on
-New stone
-New iron, diamond, redstone and emerald ore textures
-Attempt at xp orbs-added
-FIXED cactus tiling
Really like how it's going. The red shroom pattern is odd, I rather see points than strokes. Sand is very god, but has a tiling error (according to your screenshots).
I tried to make, with the mushroom, kind of a pointy/straightish style.
With the sand, hmm, can't see what you mean. Could you please explain?
Also, I'm currently undergoing a overhaul of the previous plank textures.
In the last pictures of desert, in the OP, we can see the sand blocks on a sunset. When you watch the limits between blocks in the distance, you can clearly see a demarcation from dark pixels to bright pixels (because with the distance, you only see a simplification of the colors). Since the pack looks like being kind of realistic, I thought it was legit.
Ah, ok. I see what you mean.

On another note, I haven't been working on this pack much, and only have new woods to show. I've mainly been directing my attention towards my 16x pack. If anyone is interested in checking it out, please do.

Great to hear that you already like it.....so far.

Thanks so much! I worked on a new stone texture yesterday.
Here it is in a cave as such.
Thanks a lot!
My wip 32x texture pack.
Cheers!
