It's not optifine. It's because Mojang changed the size of the zombie.png, zombie_villager.png and the pigzombie.png. Originally they were 64x32 for 16x texture packs but in 1.4 the game draws from 64x64 pictures (or 128x128 or above for hd texture packs). You just need update your texture pack to conform to the new standard or enlarge it yourself. The texture for the mobs themselves goes in the same place, there's just more space at the bottom.
The above quote if from the Optifine thread. I'm seeing weird & wrong zombie textures. If the quoted guy is correct could you look at it?
"The designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add but when there is nothing left to take away" - Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Who made this texture pack? because they are x32 and x64 together.
After all, is x32 or x64?
And what is the difference with the faithful x32?
Affinite made this pack and it is faithful x64. I made an update to 1.4.2 that includes Vattics faithful 32x because there is a big difference between x16 (default) and x64. Therefore making it more usable while it is still a wip (work in progress).

The download takes me to a servey site.... it starts out using adfly but redirects to fileice... pleas fix
If it tries to redirect you, just stop the page from loading, and it should work as per normal. I use Firefox, and I can't remember anything about other browsers, but to stop a page, you press the button that is where refresh would be, while the page is loading.
Affinite can't do anything about this, it is a problem with an ad on AdFly.
Working diligently. It's going to be a cool next update. Some of the 1.4.2 blocks will be included and revamped to 64x64. Also including all rails, nether bricks, and various smoothing on dirt and stone (that is nearly unnoticeable, so worry not).

By the way... Just wanted to thank any fans out there.
It's you guys who spread the word and helped popularize this pack. It's you guys who helped me achieve 80,700 downloads! It's you guys that keep this project from becoming abandoned and even less, a thing of the past.
EDIT: And I'm tired of no chests. I'll fix that soon.

Affinite has said in the past that he wants to do the pack himself as he is a perfectionist and wants it how he wants it.
