New update, for the blocks. Along with a bunch of small fixes, I've redone a few blocks seen here:
12/6/12
+New cobblestone and related blocks
+New nether bricks
+New glowstone
+Added explosion animation
Getting to be pretty done with blocks
Feedback is appreciated. Do you like it or not, and why? It really helps me out when I get feedback, believe it or not.
These ones are a little iffy. The glowstone, cobble and mossy cobble shouldn't be as patterned, if you ask me. And they really shouldn't have the same pattern as each other. They're not manufactured blocks (cobblestone being debatable on that one), so having them all symmetrical with a repeating pattern kind of skews that natural feel. And as for the bricks, it just doesn't look right if all the bricks are facing out on end, or all the bricks are cubes, if that's what you were going for. Seeing a nether fortress made of cubes makes it look rather odd, and kind of like a lego building made by a kid with OCD. The staggered bricks are much more appealing, in my opinion.
Merry Christmas, new update.
Will probably be the last update for a while, since I'm planning on doing another overhaul (will look much, much better), as well as finishing the terrain and more for Tiny Blocks (64x). I'll probably release Tiny Blocks (64x) pretty soon here though.

Some Tiny Blocks (64x) teasers:
I love what you've done with these ones, however. The stones, sand, ores, grasses, leaves, logs, everything! Even the planks and stone half-steps look amazing! I feel the need to add that I've been using your texture pack up until the point it became outdated, and it's been my favorite since the first time I used it. Come to think of it, it's the only texture pack I've ever actually kept. I got rid of all the others because this one just blew them out of the water.
So yeah, keep up the good work! I can't wait 'til it's up to date again, the default pack is getting a bit old.

Great to hear from a fan of the pack, always welcomed. Anyways, I hope you're happy now because I've started work on this again.
I agree with your criticism, it was mostly laziness on my part. I'm going to keep cobblestone the way it is, but change glowstone and probably mossy cobblestone as well. Currently I'm just working on redoing every single block and item (easier than it sounds), going to do mobs and the guis last. I guess you guys have deserved some spoilers, pretty damn long wait.
I don't know when I will release this update, since I'm (still) adjusting to the recent texture pack changes. I also want to get to a point where this texture pack is actually playable. Hopefully not too long off.
do you make an update for the 1.5.2 version ? your texture pack is so beautiful, and I always use it before the 1.5 update
Might as well post a small progress report since the thread was bumped already. So far I've finished all of the blocks other than a few current ones and any that come with the 1.6 update (Ill get to them when it comes out). Right now I'm working on the gui's and the mobs, and it's going pretty good, I have a few done so far but not a lot. I'm hoping to re-release the pack in about a month, so early or mid August is probably best considering the amount of horse skins I will need to make.. Here are some pictures of the gui's that are basically completed (but I will probably go back to change them in the future):
And some blocks:
C&C would be appreciated.
I also need a new video to showcase the updated pack. Anyone that thinks they have the skill to make a decent showcase of it, send me a PM and we can talk. (You would get early access to the pack as well)

I'd showcase it myself if I had the skill in video-editing. I have a friend who's starting a channel that includes Minecraft-related things, so I might be able to do it with him, since he's good with things like that. Two heads are better than one. Anyway, I love it. All of it. Except the swords, they look kinda like baseball bats. I dunno, I just think the hilts could be a bit wider, maybe try extending them by 1 pixel outwards? But hey, it's your pack, I'm just making a suggestion. Looking forward to the day TinyBlocks is released again!
Just checking, are you still planning to make this available for a newer version? I really hope you are, because the only thing that comes close to being this awesome is the OCD texture pack, and it's a little too simplistic for my tastes. I'm also still interested in making a showcase video for your pack, if you'd like. I'll have a much better computer soon and some better recording software to ensure a quality recording.
Dooni had a lot of progress done towards the update that didn't happen, but he lost the device he was keeping his work on. He's not continuing it for the foreseeable future, though he has expressed interest in maybe picking it back up one day, if no-one decides to continue it. If I had any texturing experience, I would do it myself... Actually, I might do that, but I would not bother to release it unless I felt it was actually any good. So yeah, at the moment, I have a lot on my plate, but I might pick Tiny Blocks back up once I have a little more time, pretty soon here. I'll go ask the forums how to texture well and make a decent thread for it.
tl;dr: Dooni's not continuing the pack for now, I wouldn't check this thread more than once every month. Also, you may want to try being a little more considerate when inquiring about an update. I know you're not trying to be pushy, but it can sound that way regardless of what you meant. Just put some thought into it and you'll probably be fine.
Anyway, nice use of high resolution textures!
Here is some for the awesome work!
