After some thought, I have come to the decision that I will be discontinuing this pack. While I've put a lot of work into it over the past, my style has largely changed and continuing this would mean changing multiple textures as well as the main theme of the pack and a great deal of its palette. Additionally, I haven't done much work towards this project recently and simply can't find the motivation to do so. I will most likely start work on another pack some time in the future, but it is extremely unlikely that I will continue this one.
Crimsobrite is a project that I started in mid December last year. It's a high, colourful pixel art texture pack with a retro RPG feel, and it's really just texture art the way I naturally do it. The blocks and items are drawn to suit my liking, and the biome colours are representative of seasons- for example, forests are spring colours, while plains and mountains have autumn foliage. It's the first pack I've posted on these forums, but it's not the first I've worked on. Before this, I was working on another pack which just started as random texture art but soon grew into something with a similar theme, but it was absolutely atrocious, and I'd rather not show it or talk about it. So, late last year, I scrapped it and restarted, and now I'm posting my still largely unfinished work. I haven't done a great deal of stuff other than blocks and items, which is why I'm posting it as a WIP pack.
You can download my pack in this link right here:http://www.mediafire...brite_v_0.3.zipThis is a direct download link, which will allow you to download the resource pack's .zip file. To install, simply copy or move it to your Minecraft's resource packs folder.NOTE: For texture pack features such as CTM and custom colours, it is recommended you use McPatcher. This can be downloaded from the official thread here.

Ah, I knew I saw that stone brick before! It was on this thread! I knew I saw it before, but I couldn't place it, and I didn't recognize you with your new avatar. Sometimes I will memorize people's avatars rather than names, but that explains why the stone bricks looked familiar.
Anyway, the pack looks really nice! I love the bright style of the dirt. If you are going to release the pack, I can just move the thread out for you.

Very nice! The overall feel of the pack is very bright and retro and most of the textures are very well put together.
My only criticisms are that:
- some textures (like grass and jungle leaves) don't tile particularly well (though they have no egregious patterns).
- some textures (mostly of the stone verity) seem a little flat, and could do with some more contrast and highlights/shadows.
The jungle leaves strike me in particular as being both flat and tiling badly.
Some things that I like in particular are the side grass (snow and normal). They are very stylized without being annoying and they have plenty of depth. All of the logs are also very nice. They have heaps of detail using only a few colour (something I always appreciate [possibly because I'm bad at it myself])

You know what? You're right. I really despise the current jungle leaves, and the cobblestone texture is flat as well as having too little shading for the colours I've assigned to it. I'll be changing both of those in the next update to the pack.
It seems more than complete enough to be released there...

Yep. On a thread, over a private message, doesn't really matter to me.

But why are the cacti red? ;p
I made the cacti red because... well... because I could. I wanted to go for something a bit different.
Also, green cacti just don't bring out the "warm" feel enough in deserts.
