If you read this thread and it's a total cluster, please wait for me to edit it. The forums don't handle Unix-Style returns very well, and I run Linux
I'm going to release here in this thread two of the shader sets that I am working on in their current statuses. There are currently shader sets. Shader sets can and will be appended in time. Duly note that when my FPS is visible and low, it's just because I'm running on a mediocre rig.
Shader Set 1:Dithered Palettes!
1. Sharp X1:
--Effect: Sets the game to the dithered palette scheme of the Sharp X1 Computer
--Effect: Makes the game render in a colour scheme where you would want to taste it.
--Effect: Minecraft renders itself on a virtual giant gameboy screen. (With a lot of dithering)
Shader Set 2:Edge-Detection!
--Effect: Remember that shiny penny on the ground that distracted you for a good half an hour? Well, what if the whole world was like that? Look at the penny. Now back at the world. It's now shiny!
2. Aura:--Replaces: sobel.json--Effect: Makes things glow white.
Shader Set 3:Motion!
--Effect: Gives an underwater distortion.
2: Settle Down, M8
--Effect: When pixels in the pre-shaded screen change, they wave in the post-shaded screen. Cannot be done justice with a screenshot. https://app.box.com/...og2frh1ahgkc4xc
It's a resource pack, silly! Install it like any other resource pack!
Just make sure to extract it. I don't really have the time to move the files up a folder.
To use Shaders in 1.7: Esc Menu->Options->Super Secret Settings
Scrolls through shaders.
considering that there are only a few shader packs out there, I guess it's looks pretty cool. However, the candy land one is an eyesore, you may want to change that one, but other than that it looks pretty good.

However, the candy land one is an eyesore, you may want to change that one, but other than that it looks pretty good. Thank you. I'll work on making candyland more usable, and I'm also going to do a lot of shaders in new categories and not just those three.
If you want the topic moved, the best way to do so is to report the topic saying "please move to WIP Resource Pack". Once again, thank you. Will do.
It seems impossible to see with that gameboy shader... and I don't think gameboys ever looked like that to begin with. The idea is not that it looks like a gameboy. It uses the gameboy's colour set and dithers it so that it's possible to see. I'm about to work on a modification to it that will make things more easy to distinguish.
