I 've got one critic point about the rails: Could you increase the room between the two metal lines, it's a little bit too small,i think, but only if you want, i could live without it
Will do! Noticed this myself as well.

Very good looking pack. One thing, cobble and wood still too bright IMO.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks, I like concrete feedback like this =) . I'll try out darker variations and see how it turns out. They will probably be alternatives though, since I am aiming for a bright feel with this pack.

EDIT: Your lighting looks smoother, are you using MrMMods v1.5 or any other mods?
I'm using BetterLight & BetterGrass at the moment. =)

I really like this pack except for the workbench. I just don't like the solid white part of it.
Ah, I've always had a problem with the workbench and I think this is a large part of it. Agreed that the white is too distracting & plain, I'll work something out.
have been using your pack for a good explore in my SP game, and i must say, highly impressed, one criticism, the tress are toooooooo leafy, to explain this, looking at them i can see through the leaves a bit too much, and it just feels like random pixel rather than leaves, not sure if anyone else thinks that too.
really liking everything else, just keep tweaking the quality of things, see eld's and john smiths for what i am getting at here, this is your pack, what you like is what makes it great :smile.gif:

I kinda agree with you there, I'll see what I can do. It's hard to get a good balance of transparent & opaque on leaves.
Moar updates to come after the 20th everyone! :smile.gif: If you have any name ideas, or if you can help me get a texture pack selector going (à la Painterly), please let me know.
LOVE this texture pack, one big problem though; When in cave systems, Iron is rather hard to spot, If it wasn't for that, I would use this pack all the time. Otherwise, It's amazing.

No. It's a sandbox game. As long as you don't interfere with other people's enjoyment of the game, there is no reason to think that doing that would be cheating.

Agreed about the iron. Don't worry, the ore textures are mostly placeholders at the moment. I'll definitely make the iron stand out more.

This is actually pretty good, I'll get it if you plan on making all the items too.
That's the plan! Right now the default items just don't fit with the textures at all, so I'll be remaking them. The ultimate goal is a full replacement pack.
This is like the perfect blend between detailed and simple (I was gonna try a pack like this but you beat me to it haha) Looks fantastic I can't wait until it is finished!
Stunning work man, one of my favorite texture packs.
I think the mossy cobblestone needs work it just looks like the stone is tinted green in real life moss is a dark wet green you know? Just a suggestion! Keep up the good work :smile.gif:
ok soo, i dont know how yo might feel about me tinkering as well, but i was in photoshop messing with your inventory screen and i have done what might be the new furnace and crafting screen.
this is mostly for the other peoples, feel free to use it. i tell you how to install later, first the fiels....
ok so now to add these, (for windows) go to your .minecraft file open it up with like.... idk 7zip or something like that, now, go to the gui folder, and and just plop these in there, make shore these images are saved with the file names (inventory.png) (furnace.png) (crafting.png) and replace the files, and open the game, check it out....ta da you did it!!!
for mac do the exact same but open it up with archive utility or sum thing, any ways i thing i need to do sum tweaking with the furnace file, but you know...work, any ways.
(i am new here i made an account JUST so i could upload this, and i cant, dont know why. but il just put a link to the images)
oh and to save images, right lick and select save image... if you didnt know....
Hey, this texture pack looks great! I just have one criticism:
The fire.
I had a great texture pack before but I couldn't use it when i wanted to make a fireplace. The fire came up as
a really weird red box with the words FIRE TEXT HERE. OUCH or whatever on it. It looked really bad, and by the shots of terrain.png, i see you have it too.
When you catch on fire it is shown too.
Honestly, i cant use it with the fire like that.
Will do! Noticed this myself as well.

Can a mod move this to the Texture Packs subforum?
Oh and an update is coming soon! Hopefully with a completed terrain.png, so I can move on to items! :biggrin.gif:
