Here guys!
We've spent the last few days working our tails off prepping for 1.7, hopefully you like it the results!
Changelog:
Bancey_Boy:
Added the Eye of Ender texture for when it is in an Ender Portal Frame
clueless222
Added Nether portal block textures
Fixed the panorama on the title screen
Assisted in coloring the stained glass
Lots of valuable opinions on SnoFox's textures
SnoFox:
Added Podzol texture
Added Stained Glass textures
Added Hardened Clay texture
Added Stained Clay Block textures
Added Red Sand Block texture
Modified the Ice texture to go with the new packed ice texture
Added Packed Ice texture
Added Acacia Wood Log, Planks, and Leaves textures
Added Dark Oak Wood & Planks textures (shares leaves texture with normal oak)
Modified vanilla two-high plants to be more Lucidy
Found and re-animated the lava texture from old Lucid
Found and re-added the static water texture from old Lucid
Remove texture files that were identical to vanilla textures. Minecraft will fall back on the vanilla textures for anything that Lucid is missing
I hope you enjoy our work - While we personally have grown to like what we've added, I'd like to hear your opinions. Downloads are provided in the usual place -- http://snofox.net/share/lucid/
Soon, I plan on adding a few more missing textures. Once this is done, I feel Lucid should be given a new thread with a more up-to-date title and screenshots, so keep your eye out!

Hey Hikachan, SpcnG (and everyone!)
We've been hard at work the past few weeks on this. It's been quiet on the Lucid front since the entire 1.7.x branch has been bug fixes -- No new blocks or textures.
I unfortunately have a life and job now, so I only texture during weekends. I've made a fair amount of progress on 1.8 though. Here's a sneak peek:
clueless222 has also been busy playing webmaster -- he's overhauled the site. We will always post the latest pack at https://www.snofox.net/lucid/
I plan on making my own thread for the 1.8 release and letting people know there.

I'd like to direct you all to Lucid's website, where I've uploaded an in-progress build of 1.8 textures. Unfortunately, it's incomplete due to running out of time. I had intended to serve up a complete pack on Minecraft 1.8's release, but the best laid plans and ideas always fail. That said, I'd like to get the corrections/textures we have out there.
Below is a list of changes, known defects, and planned blocks.
clueless222
Re-designed the Lucid website
Added second slot for 1.8 enchanting table
Added Granite block texture
Added Polished Granite block texture
Added Inverted Daylight Sensor block texture
Added Polished Andesite block texture
SnoFox
Changed Lapis Ore block texture
Added Iron Trapdoor block texture
Added Wet Sponge block texture
Modified Polished Granite block texture
Modified Lapis Lazuli block texture
SnoFox got drunk and decided to stop texturing and closed all related files
Added the language selection button on the main menu
Added Lucid resource pack credits to main Minecraft credits
Modified the tool slot for the 1.8 enchanting table
Added the achivements UI
Added the spectator HUD
Added Boat texture
Changed Red Sand block texture
Added Red Sandstone texture
Added Carved Red Sandstone texture
Added Smooth Red Sandstone texture
Added Barrier sprite/item texture
Added Spruce Door texture
Defects/Missing blocks
Coarse dirt, prismarine variants, sea lanterns, slime blocks (?), Andesite, Diorite, Smooth Diorite, Birch Door, Jungle door, Dark Oak door. (Acacia door beta texture is available)
Some item models have missing pixels, allowing you to see through it at certain angles.
I want to give a thank you to QC712, who gave me the idea for the carved red sandstone block.
And finally, I just found out there was a 1.8 link on the Lucid leading to a 404 page. This has been rectified.

SpcnG,
Have you tried to download the dev version before? If so, you may want to consider clearing your cache. Browser caching can be very, very aggressive.
Also, if you (or anyone else) would like to submit a texture, modded, missing or otherwise, I'd be super happy use or modify it for Lucid (credits where credit is due, of course).
I've been following this thread and it's development since the original moontain. If we ever need a mirror and no one can find a working version, I will host it or at least email those the latest version. Get in contact with me at [email protected]
EDIT: I think all 8 posts I have are in this thread XD

Hi all!
Sorry for the silence.
We disappeared for 1.8 and then suddenly, bam! Shields and stuff!
So first of all, a big apology and thanks to SpcnG, who gave us a ton of textures for 1.8 that I added to the pack... And forgot to make a release.
We've been playing in Lucid so much that we forgot what vanilla looks like and just assumed it was released. Anyway...
So just a warning! I was not ready for this release due to business in that real life meatspace stuff. All we've done for 1.9 is update the creative and survival inventories to account for the shield slot to make the game playable, and updated the technical parts of the file to allow it to get loaded.
As we get our ducks in a row, we'll fix the brewing stand UI (protip, there's a new fuel slot in the top left... ) and attempt some of the simple blocks.
This weekend, expect a better release post with a changelog and all the shinies!
But for now, you can grab the 1.9 alpha over at https://www.snofox.net/lucid/ ... We'll try to do better; I promise! I'm still hoping to create a new post for the thread; this time for 1.9's release!

We've spent the last few days working our tails off prepping for 1.7, hopefully you like it the results!

I'm happy to do so - The feedback makes it that much more fun to keep it updated. So, thank you and you're welcome :]
I agree! If you need encouragement please keep up the great work. It would be a shame to loose such a gem.

Bu-bye!
I tried so many packs but always keep coming back to the Lucid pack, somehow it just feels right.
Thanks for all your work!
Cheers,

As usual, you can find us at: https://www.snofox.net/lucid/
Thanks for flying Lucid!
Edit: Added note of missing door textures
Edit2: Fixed Minecraft Forum's broken stupid auto-linking failure

Please beware that I am regarding this release as a BETA.
I plan on finishing the following tasks before making a full release for 1.9.
PS: Brewing Stand is better now :]
I hate to bump a thread that hasn't been updated in about a year, but it's hard not to.
Any progress on this texture pack, SnoFox?
I ended up starting a 32x32 version. It's nowhere near complete 'cause I'm doing it from scratch.... but I'm making progress.
