You can get this world by going to the MineSeeder thread. It's a program that shows you a different sort of seeds for the maps you are on, and allows you to enter "seeds" of the same type of string.
The map the screen is from is [wb/TaPvSDd2PCSRlZ2dsb8Lfmp4xdGVy9pqYmCCYxeNMUMu1] (include the brackets)
X81, Z41 on the map is where my house is built
Alternately, you can just type in words and get cool maps. By searching the words "minecraft seeds" you can find topics where people shared theirs.
Try "gestankfaust" or "glacier" (without the ""). Both awesome maps.
The difference between the two methods, are that with MineSeeder, you can use your saved maps to generate a new map that's exactly the same except it will have none of your buildings (essentially bare). You can also use other peoples maps in the same way.
By randomly entering a word or series of letters when creating a new world (without using Mineseeder), You will get the same world, but spawn in different areas (not far from each other though)
Both the code I shared, and the word glacier are by far the best I've seen so far. With gestankfaust a close second
Show me your screens Mythos style!!

Love the new moon!
Under water screen just because.
Ha! That's awesome
Update!
New mob...something from my own imagination as to what The Spider might look like:
Also added the new wood I was workin on and got a screen of it:
As always...let me know what ya think. The spider is a WIP as I can tell I need to adjust the legs and such. Even after using a template, and comparing to Aageon's/Misa's, still boggles me on the placement of textures on the spider.
Download is in the first post as always

Texture pack keeps coming along! The moon looks awesome in action! The gravel and carpets look great. :smile.gif:
I have just uploaded a new version of the map. I figured the Nether was a bit boring, so I spiced it up a bit.
Work blocked access to this page, and I am interviewing for new position, so I have been getting tons of sleep. Hopefully production will resume this weekend on my Mod and Map.
Welcome to Innsmouth is now in V2.0.. I know v2.0 is kinda a big jump, but I added the nether, which to me merits it. V3 will prolly be final product, then I'll open it up for contributions. :smile.gif:
@Demented_Onion: LOL! That underwater shot is classic. Many :Diamond:'s
On a side note: Dagon is now available on Netflix watch instantly... pretty bad movie over all, but it basically takes place in Innsmouth and it's cool to see the main character sporting a Miskatonic University varsity sweater. :smile.gif:
Wow Faust! I checked both your texture packs and they are brilliant. I never imagined finding a texture pack that would match up to Glimmar's but both of yours did.
I can see myself alternating between textures everyweek or so now.
Hats of to you, sir.

Thank you very much! You're too kind though...Glimm's got some of the best stuff.
Working on a new video for the spider once I figure out the darn leg texture positions...
@Anon - Cool...gonna go get it now. I took some clips to use in the new Mythos video (besides the spider one) I'm doin

While that maybe true your stuff is great no doubt and great enough, in fact, for me to want to alternate between texture pack. That said, don't you wanna share your Mythos sig? :3

Amazing!
Feels like it was taken stright from Caprica, Very good job :smile.gif:
Thanks very much! Been dealing with computers for all of the last three days now so i haven't been able to do much other than the spider. Still trying to figure out the orientation of the leg textures so they all face the right way. From the template, I get a better idea, but have yet to test it.
Anyway...what do you guys want to see next? More mobs (take longer), new textures (which blocks), or a test map showing a few buildings and how I would build with the pack?

I would like the zombie to be textured, mabye to look like a cultist.
Nice job, glad to see that cobble again and I love the obsidian, can't give any suggestions since I've never read any Lovecraft nor seen any movies based on them, more of a high fantasy reader, though I might read something when I'm finished rereading the Song of Ice and Fire series.

It's gonna be something like that. Sorta "Deep One" meets cultist. Man turned spawn of Cthulhu kinda thing. Wearing ceremonial armor...dunno why I thought scale mail breast plate...but it turned out good
:biggrin.gif:
@Tbwulf - Thanks! Books are a great mix of fantasy and horror from the early 1900's. Movies they have done have all been garbage really. (friggin Hollywood)

Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn
This texture pack is probably one of the most fantastically inspired packs out there, kudos to you sir, kudos indeed.
-Worked on the wool (now old fashion carpets)
-Redid the gravel for building reasons. Works both as random gravel and for building streets and such
-Added a new ornate style netherrack (still working on "fleshrack" :tongue.gif:). It's pictured lining the edge of the glass floor and such
-And a sample of the art file in action.
More to come!! (Some of the textures didn't turn out well...so they are taking longer. Same with Yog Slime-oth)
If anyone has interesting screen of cool structure...don't be afraid to post em!!

The furnace was done a while ago but is included. Other GUI items will match this...kinda :biggrin.gif:

Me too. Which is whi I got my practice on another pack first. :biggrin.gif:
Random screenies of the actual outside...you know, where the sun shines :
From a map I generated with the seed "montypython"
