I'm new here and I've just created a Reddit account and this Minecraft forum account to ask a question of you all. I've been creating my own resource pack recently using Flows HD as a base. I'm playing a modded Minecraft via CurseForge on 1.19.2 (Fabric), including the Continuity Mod and a heavily customised resource pack. I'm trying to create connected textures for stairs, slabs, and blocks that not only work independently but also connect to the other two types of blocks if possible.
I've run into two issues, one of which I've not encountered before on older versions of Minecraft or with older versions of my resource pack. The first issue is that my stairs don't connect properly on corners (see image). This didn't use to occur and I haven't changed any of my CTM settings to screw this up, so I don't know what's gone wrong. This is the main issue I'd like resolved.
As you can see, the blocks mostly connect well with themselves, but not each other (see slabs in the middle) and the stairs don't connect properly at the corners.
The second issue is that while stairs, slabs, and blocks connect well, for the most part, barring the issue highlighted above, they don't connect with each other (as you can see with the slabs that I've placed in the centre of my stairs). Is this possible to do or just not viable?
Here's the folder structure and CTM code that I use. There is a separate folder for the sides/bottom textures structured the same way.
I've been researching these issues for quite some time without any concrete answers. Any help you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated.
