Hello! I was wondering if it's possible to set up something WITHOUT Optifine or other mods that allows me to pick different textures for a block depending on what biome it's in. Specifically, I'm trying to get the dead bush to use one texture in normal deserts and a different texture everywhere else (particularly mesa biomes).
Right now, my current solution is to change the blockstate and model files to use two variants and set the one I want to show up only in the desert to a weight of 1, and the version I want to show up everywhere else to a weight of 12, because the desert variant looks a little weird in high concentrations.
I would also accept an option to only allow a certain version to show up on a certain block (like how amethyst clusters only shows up on budding amethyst), but that seems like it requires more coding knowledge than I possess and/or is possible in just a resource pack.
