I need the water textures with all information in the texture itself, in other words I want to apply the standard water tint to the textures themselves while also keeping the transparency.
I have not been able to figure out how to do this without also overriding the transparency at the same time. Originally I was trying to add the color value on a separate layer in photoshop and blend them together using multiply but that did not work like intended (It works with non-transparent textures like grass).
Does anyone know of a method I can use to do this?
In Paint.NET you can put the texture on the top layer and make it merge with a transparent bottom layer while its layer's settings are very transparent.
I don't know if it's possible with photoshop tho. (paint.NET is free btw; https://www.getpaint.net)
