So I recently purchased the full version of the Realistico resource pack and have been having problems getting it to work. The tutorial says to use the BSL shader pack to run it properly, but no matter what I do, it still appears incredibly blurry and the texture depth on the blocks is very extreme.
I put this thread under mods due to it seeming like mainly an issue with BSL, as running BSL with or without Realistico has the same blurriness issue.
So more details:
I had Optifine pre-installed due to using faithful 32x32 resource pack.
I installed the demo but it didn't look as good as the videos I had watched, so I bought the full version.
I followed the instructions step-by-step, but the results I get are not great, as shown in the pictures below Images
I looked in the FAQ section for Realistico, but the only thing that seemed close to the issue was to change the POM_Depth setting, but in none of the three settings files I downloaded did I see such a setting.
I looked around at BSL FAQs and other places, but the only solution that seemed to be for my problem was to change or turn off the Bloom setting, but it whether it is off or on changes nothing.
I'm on Windows 10, all my drivers are up to date, my Minecraft and both BSL and Realistico are up to date, and I am playing windowed on a 2560x1140 display.
My graphics card is a GTX 970, I have an i5 Intel processor, and I am running Minecraft on 4GB of ram.
I think it is Depth of Field. DoF will cause things to blur that you are not directly looking at. Looks cool for screenshots and cinematics, but I wouldn't play with it on. Also, don't forget to adjust your POM Quality size to match the texture size of the Realistico pack you are using. You can also tweak the POM Depth a bit as well to make it less extreme. As for bloom, it's hit or miss but it can give an overly foggy look a lot of the times, doesn't really blur though.
Any reason why you must use BSL? Other shaders can do pretty much the same things, Continuum, SEUS, Sildur's, etc... all good.

Both packs:
Realistico
BSL Shader
I'm not sure what else I should include here, but if there is anything I can do to make this playable, I would be grateful.
Blurry?
Could it be motion blur?
Motion blur prevents you from getting motion sickness, but it gets me motion sickness. xD

I realize now that the images are not showing up. I changed it to a link to them instead.
Motion blur is also disabled so It is not that. Thanks for the suggestion though!
I believe, it's a model, that you view from an angle, that will appear blurry from.
These models add depth into the block, I believe, it has to look like that.
