I've been working on a resource pack and recently I have added about 40 or so 64x64 diamond sword / axe textures. I tried them in-game and the icon in the inventory was fine, but then when I held it, it was tiny. Just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this?

(Also its a 1.14.3 custom-model-data texture pack and i'm using it on a spigot 1.14.3 server)
can you add pictures of some of the textures and how it looks ingame? That would help to identify the problem. Right now I'd bet the problem lies within the items' model files.
You can change how big the item is being displayed with the display tag of the item manually or with the parent tag, you can link to an already existing configuration, for example "parent": "item/handheld" or you can do both, change what you want and the rest is covered with the parent tag.
Hiya, sorry for late response. Anyways I have got the size working but now the custom model data textures won't load in, I've put a pastebin link for the code, please help and tell me what i'm doing wrong. (Also sorry about my coding, it's a bit messy)
I actually fixed it, I found out after an hour of screaming at my PC that I was using an animated texture which even before I wanted to make the textures larger was not working. I changed it and now it works, YAY Thanks
