I'm currently in the process of making a texture pack for 1.13.2. I was going through the entities pack as a start. I do the creeper, polar bear, cats, then I check to see if they've all worked (which they have). i finally go off to work on beds, I change all the textures, i go in game to check, none of them work. Not a big problem i didn't really care about the beds anyway. I move onto the chests, i do the ender chest (which works), then i move onto the other four (single, double, trapped single, trapped double). I do all four textures then move into game to test them out, both single chests do not work, but both double chests do.
if anyone has an idea of what to do please send it here.
To expand on what KittenKatja said above, it's very likely that it's just some little mistake. Minecraft is VERY picky about the details like what things are named.
I suggest posting the exact file names you have for each texture along with a full file path relative to assets. (Like "/assets/minecraft/textures/... ") Remember that things like capitalization are taken into account, which is why I stressed that you post the exact details.
In addition, make sure that the textires are .png files. Yes, I know that's kinda obvious but if you're new it's easy to save it as something incorrect by accident. Make sure that you have your operating system to NOT hide file extensions for known file types. (If you don't know how to change this, search engines are your friend)
Posting your session log (.minecraft/logs/latest.log) to Pastebin and then providing a link here might also help. (Please don't post it directly to the forum unless you at the very least use Spoiler tags to hide it by default)
Really the more information you give us, the more likely we are to be able to help you. Just saying that something doesn't work isn't really useful as there are LOTS of reasons why something might not work.
