I'm currently working on updating my resource pack to 1.13, and I've found myself hung up on one issue in particular. I have a custom model set up for the swords that makes them change their texture as they get damaged to look more... Well, damaged. This worked perfectly in 1.12 and down, but it's causing problems for me in 1.13. I wasn't paying much attention to the technical side of Minecraft as the update was being made, but I do know it changed a lot about resource packs... (Changing texture names was pretty tedious...) It would seem those changes include the way to make tools change their texture with damage. So, what changed?
