I have been looking around at some tutorials on editing minecraft sounds. However, I noticed that all of these sound folders do not contain the sound effects for dealing damage to an entity, like the critical hit sound, the sprint hit sound, the uncharged hit sound, etc. How do I change those sound files in a resource pack (What folder do I create to place the new sound files in?)? For my case, I want to set some Final Fantasy VII sound effects:
hello, i figured out you can do it for normal hit sounds, but i dont know about crits, still trying to do it myself but if you want to change it you go to your resouce pack, minecraft, sounds, damage and rename the sounds hit1 hit2 hit3 and so on i believe you can also change fall damage to fallbig and fallsmall
Hello,
I have been looking around at some tutorials on editing minecraft sounds. However, I noticed that all of these sound folders do not contain the sound effects for dealing damage to an entity, like the critical hit sound, the sprint hit sound, the uncharged hit sound, etc. How do I change those sound files in a resource pack (What folder do I create to place the new sound files in?)? For my case, I want to set some Final Fantasy VII sound effects:
sweep: Cloud's normal attack sound
sprint hit: Punch sound effect
strong hit: Aeris's crit sound effect
critical hit: Cloud's crit sound effect
weak hit: Aeris's normal attack sound
