If it is too transparent, it does not render. Luckily, I believe this is fixed in the latest snapshots.
I suspect you have nailed the issue Deonyi. My water is extremely transparent, as I intend. The problem is happening with 1.7.10. Now this begs the question of how to fix this. I will investigate the bug reports, to see if this is considered, as you say, fixed.

(koo-star-neek) The real numbers are countable and I CAN prove it. Cantor was wrong!
I spent some time testing. With 1.7.10, transparency of 50% or less do not render. However with snapshot 14w30c it does render properly.
Now the question: Do I bug Mojang with the bug report 1.7.10?
I say not as it is fixed in the 1.8 snapshot. So I assume they already knew about the bug & fixed it... or didn't know & they fixed accidentally.
If it does appear to happen again in the future 1.8 snapshots & then report it.

I agree. I doubt there will be a 1.7.11 regardless

This was an issue that was fixed shortly after the addition of colored glass. No need to report it as a bug.
You are correct. I searched Jira and it was reported fixed in 1.7.4 unfortunately it has somehow disappeared from the 1.7.10 code base. The 1.8 code base still has the working code and I will monitor the snapshots to ensure it does not disappear again.

I subbed kycartniq because he is awesome and also...He should make a texturpack for ... the luckyblocks mod
LOL, Thank you for the sub mate. But you didn't need to sub me to get me to look at the luckyblocks mod. BTW, which resource pack would you the textures for the mod to work with if I decide to make it.

I would have subbed you any way. I want to know when a new texturpack comes out. Plus i could see you making texturpacks for minecraft xbox
The dalek mod one i have both of those mods.
In one of my packs water in the Cauldron is not appearing. I must have done something but I don't know what.
Where is the texture of water in a cauldron from?
The water texture that is used by the cauldron comes from the water_still.png texture file.
Thanks Mark. I suspected this was so but wanted confirmation.

No problem. I'm always happy to help

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
