hey,
my spiders are not being skinned properly. they are showing up as a ghostly white. the eyes are working properly but the bodies aren't. is this a result of not having the spiders in the proper texture pack size? or is it the result of something else?
spider_eyes.png is what you're looking for. The file must be indexed, and it must have a black background (no transparency; make a layer of flat black under the current one, and then merge down).
I learned that there really is a difference between transparent white and transparent black this way. In Paint.NET, you want to select the pure black color, make it completely transparent, and flood spider_eyes.png with it. Don't forget to do the same with Endermen eyes or they'll be doing ghost impressions next.
