I'm creating a resource pack with special items and mobs based on their names. So, I was wondering if I can create a new model for arrow as entity that would switch if it has a certain name. For example, I would create an arrow with NBT CustomName:"Blue Arrow" and it would switch the texture for blue arrow. I think it should be possible with Random Entities in Optifine (because they've added the name option few months ago), but i'm not sure.
I was looking around the internet and I couldn't find anything. I also found this: 2318908, but I think it's little bit outdated.
