ive been making my own texture pack lately using optifine and im trying to get multiple villager skins working but i just cant seem to get them to work. ive got wolves, squids, chickens, bats and golems to work plus changed the clock and a few other items and i just cant seem to get villagers to work. im using the instructions written here with the latest optifine
ok i installed optifine, created a resource pack called "custom textures pack" then i created a a folder called "assets" as well as a png file called "custom texture pack.png" then i created a file called "pack.mcmeta" then inside the "assets" folder i created a file called "mcpatcher" inside of that file i created a folder called "mob" inside of that i created files called "wolf" "enderman" "creeper" "pig" and "villager" inside of the mob folder itself is a png file called "iron_golem2" and "iron_golem3".
The villagers are the only ones i havent been able to get working yet. they are called "priest2", "librarian2", "librarian3", "smith2", "smith3", and "villager2", "villager3", "villager4", "villager5"
I originally used this youtube video then edited it for the extra mob skins using the instructions HERE
EDIT: and occasionally my tame wolf textures stop working, but the custom collar texture still works
