I have made many-a thread about texturing, and none of them have turned out well. I figured that is because I am not a particularly good artist, especially when it comes to mouse drawing. So I have decided to try my hand at modeling, and guess what? I am decent. So I am accepting requests, and I would like to also mention that all of my previous threads have been shut down, sorry if you had any requests(I will be personally editing them as well). But yeah, please give me an idea about what you would like for your model, and I will PM you the resource pack with the model or the JSON, please state your preference.
Do you just want to steal my thread? I can allow that.
He does have a point, though. Your information effectively consists of "I'll do things" and "I made something average as proof that I can do things".
If you want a successful service, treat it like a resume and portfolio. Put your best foot forward. Show you BEST work, not you average work. Give as much information as possible. Let people know what you're best at, and how you'll be handling their request. Make yourself look good. Embed images. Provide samples. Be professional!
I think part of the reason your other thread died is this same thing. Nothing in that one instilled me with the idea that you're the guy I want working for me. Nothing about your threads give confidence in your abilities, or let anyone know of what you're really capable of. When people look at your thread and go "meh" then they're not going to request stuff from you.
As a solid bit of advice, follow Vexilius' example. List your credentials, any past work you've done, and show your best work right in your thread. In addition, lay ground rules so that people making requests know exactly what they can expect from you and when. These things are important to people making requests, so be up front with them.
I have a small request for you guys (this thread is a miracle for me). Is there any way for either one of you to create a model of a Hydra Head (No Neck, just the head) for a small thing I've been working on? I will provide a picture for reference.
Just to be clear, I only want the head for command block purposes. I will make a simple neck model for myself if necessary.
I don't know the differences between 1.9 models and 1.8 models, so it would likely be better if you were to do it in 1.9

I hope that helps you.
It's fine. I'll wait, and someone will come... some day...

random 3D model idea for 1.8/1.8: turn the bow texture to a 3D modeled minigun xD or maybe a crossbow if that's easier to model xD
