Im having a problem and im not sure where to go for help. My games textures have been messing up lately, but im not sure how to post screenshots on this forum. Like the water in pipes in buildcraft look like sponges
It is probably an animation error. And you could have just made another topic asking of vuildcraft textures or ask on their forums.

it is possible to make tilable textures out of photos. i have plans for such a pack in the future, and i tested it out with some photos i took of patters i might use. i managed to get them to tile! its a ton of work however... but possible.

My first pack was sort of an experiment, a 16x16 bucket fill (sort of). It still took me hours to make. (Don't bother looking for it, I never posted it in any website.)

hey can nyone tell me how to change my brothers texture to troll him?
Step one: Get onto his computer without him knowing. This could be difficult.
Extra step: Get a troll texture pack if you don't have one already.
Step two: Click on the Minecraft icon.
Step three: Click on it again really quickly.
Step four: Login, or not. It doesn't really matter. Just get to the title screen of Minecraft.
Step five: click on the "Texture packs" bar.
Step six: click "Open texture packs folder"
Step seven: Put the troll texture pack in that folder.
Step eight: Select the troll texture pack.
Step nine: ???
Step ten: Profit.
I know I'm putting a bit too much on myself here, but I am in the process of making 4 different texture packs AT THE SAME TIME!!!!! I just wanted to say something random about that... :3
"Since my pack is a simple pack, it doesn't need shading."
"No. If you look at Bluebird, Dandelion, and any other simple pack with more than 10 rep, they all have shading. A simple pack can and should have some shading to it."
You can edit or rewrite the elaboration to your liking.

Why would you try to make four at the same time? Take your time on one texture pack and it will turn out better.

As long as it wasn't the only thing you put into the tags, you're not part of the 'no common sense' group
