UPDATE! I attempted to soften the clay, but it didn't really work. And ignore textures from Eldpack, I got lazy and didn't remove them.
Peyton, this is coming along simply stunningly. I cannot wait to download this. I believe that this will probably become my main texture pack to use in fact. Such masterfully picked colors, matched with fantastic use of shading, fantastic work.

Really, really don't like the wool. There is way too much contrast in the dithering compared to the softer and smoother look of the rest of the textures.
The spruce log also has a very obvious line between the highlight and the shadow. Looking forward to this pack still, it really looks as though it's gonna be great!

I agree 1000000% on the wool. I HATE it. And I see what you mean with the spruce, I will fix it tomorrow
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The official Bluebird continuation is underway! Please come and help keep the pack alive!
i did the boat. on the front is some water intake thing which somehow powers the... propellers on the back... and it's got a nifty red stripe, so there's that... seriously, this was hard to texture.
Would anybody be interested in giving me a hand with a bright, spring kind of feel, palette?
I find http://www.colourlovers.com/ to be one of the best resources for palette options. You can even upload an image that inspires you and it will pull colors from the photo.
Been remaking a few textures that I didn't like before. I've made new pine leaves to match the style I used for all my other leaves, added CTM for white wool, new stone slabs are almost done, made a new soulsand texture as well.
As far as actual NEW, new stuff goes, my cow is about 50% done. I'll post pics when it's completed! (as well as pics of the other new terrain stuff)
Oh, I've also made new textures for everything added in the new snapshots and I'm working on new particles for the fireworks.
I uploaded some pics of new terrain stuff I've been doing to my thread if anyone is curious to what I've been doing terrain-wise. There was quite a lot of text with it so I can't really be bothered posting it all here too...
Also, does anyone know any simple apps for android that are similar to paint.net or that will at least let me do some pixel art and possible save it as a .png?
I'm getting a nexus 10 this wednesday so it would be awesome if I could texture on the go!
It's the red wavy block above the first wheat stage.

Because citricsquid descaled it by 2, no interpolation however it was an odd number.
I know; I simply 'edited' it for him so the sign was a tad more 'fitting'.

Definitely, its hard to discern between the grass and dirt
Much better
Quoted from Meringue - Too bad i own and have to use PS (at work) - it's clunky and i hate it..

Top method just wasn't working, so I used vertical to achieve the same affect. Endstone acts like it has purple grass on it.
There's yet more to come!
I was thinking of doing the same thing!
That. Is. Absolutely. FANTASTIC.
Accidentally left the Eld pack iron door and soul sand in.
Edit:
Forgot to post this here yesterday.
Those wooden door and pumpkin textures are indescribable! Splendid work all around! Much improvement with the wool.
I would lower the contrast on the planks though. The break in-between the individual planks is quite dark.
But seriously, those are some of the best 16x textures I've seen in a looong time. Keep up the fantastic work!
