I've got a Bamboo Touch. I don't recommend the Touch, I don't find it useful and the cat keeps walking across it, turning the touch on, and then sending my cursor flying across the screen. But honestly, I've had both the basic model and the step up (an older model of the Intuos), and I'd get the basic one. For what we're doing you won't notice enough of a difference and I found the larger tablet size annoying for when I wanted to pack up my laptop and go somewhere with it.
Eyeboobs. Right. Let me have a bit more vodka. (it's flavored like fruit loops)
If we are all speaking of Wacom I would have to say there are the best u can get
I don't know if anyone knows but i work down at Bethesda Softworks and we use the Cintiq 24HD and its absolutely amazing so much easier the using a mouse
BTW if your looking for something in a decent price range try the bamboo series thats what i use a home i currently have the Splash
So, i redid my redstone lamp so now it no longer looks like it's themed after dollars for some reason... the shape of the filaments doesn't matter so much i realized, as the green theme. it was bugging me. i went with something more... deco.
also, a huge problem was that the circle went all the way into the edges of the block making it tile horribly and impossibly, so i added a bit more frame to it.

Its theme is Pirates (but kinda medieval rpg ,rustic feel)
I've got a friend that works for Disney, they use the same thing. She posted a photo of her workspace not too long ago... that thing is bigger than my monitor. I am so very jealous and wish I could justify saving up for one someday.

and here's how they tile:
I would like to make sweet love to the closed one, but the open one just doesnt look right, im not completely sure, it could be the frame for the lightbulbs colour? I'm not sure and i cant find what i dont like in it.

Do you order these things online? or does anyone know of stores that sell them (obviously franchises)

yeah, the frame was really hard to figure out... is it the filaments?

I think the filaments and the metal frame around the filaments aren't quite on spot with their color... And the filaments... look like glowworms... Long glowworms with glowing skewers on some of them...

yea i would love to own one but for over 2Gs i can't afford that

maybe i should just redo it completely... i like the circles and the glass, and the aperture, but yeah the frame and the filaments need a rework.
You can order them online, though I did find them at Sam's Club this one time. Sometimes you can find them at places like MicroCenter or other computer stores as well, though it's not always reliable.
I think if I were really careful with my budget... with about half a year of saving or so... I could afford one without having to worry. But I really can't justify that sort of splurge on something that is merely a hobby. If I decide to drop several thousands of dollars on any one item, it's going to be a harp anyway.
Okay, so I took the advice of levaunt and danori and spent the last 9 hours fixing jaggies and adding AA. Here's a sample of the new stuff.
(Oh, and I toned down the blue highlights too.)
EDIT: Some asked why I used 64x for a cartoony style, and this is why. So I can get smooth, clean shapes.

I really liek... like the newer one. Much smoother... Much nicer... Much less acid being poured into my eyes...

I'm just joking by the way, about that last part.

Trying out a new pixel arty gif avatar. Feel free to rip it to shreds, I wanted to work in my native resolution and not add dithering and such for fear of mutilating my signature eye.
EDIT: Is my signature picture broken for anyone else?
EDIT: Hmm, it looks like all of the pictures on these forum posts are broken for me. And I think I know why...
