Can i ask if anyone has a link or made a template for the new horses before i have to make one??
Also now my company is signed as a Minecraft partner we are designing and making new content for the official Bedrock store and growing our team.
I did...but they went and changed the model/texture again and it currently doesn't match- ie the horses are currently broken, showing part of the body on the lower half of the neck. I was going to remake the template I put together when they finally fix that.
And congratulations!! That's amazing news! Good luck!

SO I'm redoing my stripped woods, and I think I like this new direction... Still MORE than glad to hear opinions and feedback, of course!
Looking good! Really loving the detail put into it!
Thank you! I have to admit to a "dirty secret" though... I copped out and made the stripped logs 128x rather than 64x. I now have to relabel my pack as "64x+" or "64x enhanced". Not the first time I've done it in recent days, and may not be the last- as long as the style is retained and the textures still work together in a pack, no harm, right? ...right? ^^;
No harm, only computer resource problems. Some people will just not be able to run it.
This is why I keep the larger sizes to a bare minimum, the rest at 64x; save mobs and such that can get a bit larger... try to keep the overhead loading of large textures down as best I can and still retain the quality I'm after.
Alvoria, I'm not TRYING To make a detailed Resource Pack.
It's Supposed To Be Cartoony.
That is the exact same thing everyone says when they post those kinds of textures.
If you like it, thats fine. Your textures, so your vision. No issues there. The problem is they are indeed objectively bad. Flat colors with no shading is not "cartoony", it is just lack of skill. And this isn't to crap all over you, honest. I was literally in the same position as you in the beginning.
Fun fact: Technically these images are of the SAME texture pack. I have basically been working and reworking it since the beginning.
I am by no means an expert at texturing. I suck, but you can see that I have indeed improved quite a bit.
So again, if you want to make a texture pack that looks like that, more power to you. You do what you like and anyone who says otherwise can stuff it, including myself. However, if you wish to improve your skill, then taking the advice of someone like Alvoria is a good idea. I've been around here a LOT longer than most people, and I've seen him basically from his beginning, and he has become an amazing texture artist.
Any regulars here still playing/texturing for Minecraft?
I just got back into the game the other week (playing some SkyFactory 3 and watching some of the old Yogscast modpack series) after leaving it for close to a year and a half. A lot has changed! And once again, I find myself tempted to start drawin' some pixels yet again (especially with the 100-some-odd 16x textures I have lying around from a pack that I never finished).
I'm just curious to see how things are going in the 'texture pack scene.'
Its all good so far, they are torturing us with the name changes, so we have to redo our packs, etc. But other then that, its good You can join us on discord! We are much more active there
Just letting you all know that Mojang has changed the texture folders "blocks" and "items" to "block" and "item" respectively. Might want to update all your custom models...again.

Another unnecessary change. I feel like keeping resource packs cross compatible with versions from then on is important, since we all are gonna stop working on it eventually

I have never been good at Modding and Resources Packs.
I want to start making my Packs of Textures and Mods, and probably start in very little =)
Well we can help you with that! Check out the Discord server that I have linked above to get faster input & feedback
It is kinda easy to learn how to make a resource pack, but to make the resource pack can be more difficult.

I'm sorry, but I do not have Discord, and I may never have it, but I can take a look.
Discord is a free program, if that helps. But if you don't want it then it is fine. You can still post stuff here & people will still look & give feedback
@DirkGrundy
That's looking great! You have a lovely feel going on there.

I mean, this was my first real attempt at a texture pack 7 years ago: https://i.imgur.com/3sN4moX.jpg
And this is more or less my pack now: https://i.imgur.com/LcX91yb.png

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.

Recipe book GUI. I tried to make it look rustic and cheap.
I forgot to detail a cover, but let's just say it's paper back
