All this talk of languages makes me want to dig out Tasundes again (also known as Vethres or Wethres), the language of the fictional Veteran Republic (Vêndarrepublik). V's and W's are basically interchangeable; use a W if you want it to look old-fashoned (like wedtertran instead of vedtertran). K and Q are also like that for some words (qarts instead of karts), although Q is technically not used (Q and W are unused, C and X rarely, H, M, and P are moderately rare). I'll stop now before this goes too far off topic.
If anything, a Teamspeak server would be better, but i rest my case.
We don't really use the calling feature too often. It's mostly just a chat/place for us to post things we want feedback on that don't quite fit in the TAU. Occasionally we'll try to put together a gaming session in such game or other, but that's not too often, and not too easy, considering we've got people from all timezones.

Where would I ask to hire a texture artist? its unpaid, but I can offer a substantial amount of credit
An example of my current work to establish the style
-snip-
A couple things about what you're asking. You need to be really specific, as in not just providing some example work. You should probably say, "I need some 32x item textures in a cartoony style that's still pixel arty" if that is indeed what you want. Also, no self-respecting artist will do a large amount of work for free. "a substantial amount of credit" is not actually worth anything, especially considering that if you are having a resource pack made for you and posting it, you will be getting the credit, not the actual artist. If this is for a server, the artist will definitely get no recognition from the users. If you are intending to have somebody make an entire pack for you and then post it yourself, that's very immoral. If that's the case the artist should just post it themselves. There's also the matter of whether you just want help, or if you want it to be a collaboration. You don't seem to be a terrible artist yourself, so I'm not sure why you would want help other than criticism and feedback. A collaboration is a completely different thing entirely and it seems to me like that's not what you're asking for. In short, what you're doing seems a little fishy and vague. Congrats for surviving this post though.
I have been wondering about coming back here and give texturing another chance started playing a bit again, i hope i can get better then i got last time and so on

Putting the CENDENT back in transcendent!
Thanks! CTM in both smooth and chiseled is meant to look like obelisks. Best if used as pillars.

So make smooth sandstone bricked, or something like that.
I've been here for a loooooooooong time.
Some bricks.
It repeats a bit, but I rather like the pattern.
Those are meant to be sandstone, right?

No, that's cobblestone. Took some inspiration from the Cotswolds. But I think the dark shadow is misplaced.
I don't really use Skype, BUT hey I decided to join in on it.
V-very professional there zard...

I didn't think about that.
Yeah, it was rather frustrating for me to figure out, too.
Basically, if you want to include an album- let's use http://imgur.com/a/1234 as an example- you need to format it like this:
Just be sure to remove the hyphen I included in the first tag; that's just so you could see the code.
Does that help?

I've been playing a ton of quakecraft and I decided I'm going to make a new addon for the server.
