So I've been working some more on my pack, and was wondering if you guys would like to give some opinions (positive or negative):
New birch trees, reeds, ores, diorite and stone. Would love to hear how you guys think about how the different stone textures mesh, as well as general feedback. The water's new too, but a screenshot can't do it justice.

As I said previously, the normal stone's much too green for my tastes. It also has a little bit of a tiling error at the bottom. I think the sidegrass could use a shadow underneath, otherwise it kinda looks like it's simply been pasted on to the dirt. Stone variants and leaves are looking great.
I've also finished my red sandstone:
...with chiseled variants depicting some of the average minecrafter's worst nightmares.
The iron golem is also finished!

Very nice, I really like the ores. I love that birch

Funny you should mention the stone, since this version's been remade from scratch- I wasn't a fan of my previous stone, since it was too bluish for my liking. The green tinge is definitely not going away though, since it was intentional. Might tweak it with time, as I slowly figure out what colour scheme I'm going for.
I'll definitely give the grass a look though. I hadn't noticed it, but now that you've mentioned it it's really obvious. Gah!
The iron golem's great, by the way. I love how you did the arms.
Guys! Long time no see! Been very busy with rl so I haven't had time to post any textures. I have started working on another resource pack that's inspirated by Adrian von Ziegler's music and dark medieval ages. It's 128x hd resolution textures with experimental comic horror style. I used smooth brush for making textures and pure black for dark shades to create as authentic comic style as it's possible with Photoshop and mouse.

Very cool! It reminds me a lot of EmpororDOOM's work, which I've always loved.
So since my last attempt at sandstone got absolutely no comment, I assumed that that meant that it was horrible and redid it to be more horizontal and slightly less sand-like.
And if this version still gets no comment I will continue to assume that it is horrible... but will probably not redo it again because honestly I'm out of ideas.

I think it still looks pretty much like sand. As Deonyi has said, stronger demarcation between layers would help. Try to give it a slight 'cobbly' or 'bricky' look.
Anyway, if that texture were used as sand, it would be an awesome texture
EDIT: Just rotate 90º what is supposed to be smooth sanstone (the one which doesn't have a shield) and use it as regular sandstone. It could work.
Very nice. I like how the sandstone looks darker and more dense than the sand. I think that they are different enough that it would be easy to tell them apart, especially if the player has already seen sand before.

Yeah, when you know the textures, it's easy to tell them apart, but I prefer if players can recognize blocks without having to see other blocks to distinguish them.
Anyway, this is Alvoria's choice, so we should wait for his opinion.

Wow, that looks impeccably similar to VonDoomCraft, but the way you've done your line work reminds me more of Don't Starve. It's a lot less harsh than VonDoom... I love it.
Because everyone loves vague hints about updates and so on *coughcough*: I'm making a new pack which doesn't overhaul sounds or textures, but something different. It's up to you to guess. I'll tell more after someone has guessed it correctly or until I think I'm finished enough to publish stuff here. The reason I'm waiting with telling more is because I want to surprise people.
Why tell us that you're making a pack if you haven't started, you apparently don't know what your theme is because it's going to be a surprise, and you have nothing to show?
I think Tolkein made conlangs for all of the races in his books, but you never hear or read about the entire thing. Wish more people would do that. BTW, the only thing that could go wrong with that is that some people might not like having to translate everything. Other than that, wow, you constructed a language!

I've been here for a loooooooooong time.
Awww he is so cute! I shall call him Irony ... (pun intended)
But I really like what you did with the arms. I even love the US-based National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) sign on his back

some work on Aurix
Looking great! Love the colours

3D model pack?

Some more of the stuff I've been working on:
Sand, sandstone, smooth sandstone, smooth sandstone CTM, chiseled sandstone, chiseled sandstone CTM, cobblestone, mossy stone.
Your opinion?

I know. I use bricky sandstone because it's much better for buildings (such as desert temples).
Sand could be less patterning if I added random textures, something I'll do when I've finished the other textures of the pack.
