I have been working on the chiseled and pillar quartz for my resource pack, and I was hoping I could get some feedback. I was basing it off of pictures of ridged marble pillars from ancient Greece and Rome.

I really like the colors; on that note, I like the colors in your pack a lot. It's soft, like pastels and it goes together really nicely.
Your pillar block seems strange to me; being an architecture student, I'm not familiar with any Roman or Greek column orders that have visible horizontal separations between each drum of the column. I'd just have each flute be continuous if I were you.

Also: Furnaces! Opinions?
Thanks for the feedback. I really like the shape of your furnaces(possibly because it's similar to how I made mine), it matches the rest of the pack well. The fire in the furnace however need a bit of work.. Flame doesn't really follow a smooth gradient like you made, and I think it's a bit too yellowish to work as fire color.
How about this? It might be a bit hard to see because of the particles in front. By the way, is there any way to make it so the furnace doesn't emit particles?

That's much better, it's still a bit yellow, but I think slightly yellowish fire fits in well with your packs overall color scheme.
Top Right, but it's not really suppose to be teeth.(Hard to explain)
Other than that, your shading makes the key look more like it's made of clay or play-dough than metal. Metal would have a much higher range of tones (from super dark to super light where the light hits it), and a bit more uneven shading than what you've got.

Ok, it is a just a basic model, so I can some how tell how I want the colors to be. Thanks
Just updated Bluebird (Link in my sig, obviously.)
I am planning on finishing the items and the dragon next update. Any ideas on what I should do for the dragon? I want it to be simple, but not too plain.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The official Bluebird continuation is underway! Please come and help keep the pack alive!

The Ender Dragon, itself, is not simple. It's a complex model in itself. But a Skeleton Dragon is what I'm planning on doing for my dragon.

Huh, really? No CTM in 1.8? I just learnt that there won't be that extra metadata stuff anymore... hmm.
I noticed that some of my CTM doesn't work anymore in 1.7.9 (or some does work with MCPatcher, some does work with Optifine), and i have forgotten everything about it; frustrating.
Quick shrubbery. I cheated - it's a few months old.
Sorry this is a few pages behind, my email updates are going quite slow today.
Does anyone know if all these changes affecting CTM have been put in 1.7.9? Because I literally just tried it a second ago and metadata is still working fine.
EDIT: So, I just did some testing and read the update notes... and was hit with a soul-crushing wave of pessimism. I've really been out of the loop, a lot has changed it seems.
Also, who took all my transparency? My enchanting tables and stuff are all messed up now!
Quoted from Meringue - Too bad i own and have to use PS (at work) - it's clunky and i hate it..

Also I did a bit more with the chest:

Yeah, my torches have a yellow glow too. I should really update my WIP thread.
It's 64x
Which side has the teeth?

The old one is much, much better, imo. The new one feels too messy.
D-dragon1?!
You must be crazy. Have fun with that!
Agreed, if it was higher res then stones that small would work because you could still vary the crack and stone size but in 16x... Nope.
