Is that in any of your packs? It actually looks pretty neat!
Was the face planned? With the whole death thing and all.
Nah, it isn't in any of my packs. The face is 24x, my texture art is 16x.
And what I meant by "originally planned" was that when I first wanted a new avatar, I intended to do a woodland or some other sort of scenery. However, I ended up going for something completely different and went for the stone face. I thought it up beforehand, but only about five minutes beforehand.

I knew with the entire 'making a new scene', I saw previous comments and suggestions about it. I just thought that there seems to be a face on the furnace with a rather smug look (kinda like Alec Baldwin) and then thought about the furnace of death.
Moozipan! Many praises for the notes! Something more akin to this?
Also revised my Knockback 1 variant.
and got a Knockback 2... possibly.

Those look fantastic now in my opinion! As a sword collector, I would love to have the first one, but they are all great!
You may find yourself making an insane amount of swords if you do one for every enchantment level, and people probably would never be able to keep them straight right away, so what do you think of the idea of one design for each enchantment with a little number on the ricasso or the guard somewhere indicating the level? Like having a number in the sapphire on the second one? That would keep you from running out of different designs, in case that ever actually happens.
Just another weird idea.

Mmmmm, they look a tonne better now. Not really fantastically useful sword designs but they are definitely interesting and being minecraft, interesting > reality so I'd say they're fine.
Lovely work though, can't wait to see how you tackle some of the other tools!
Some Feedback on those changes in BITLY please? Please?
I guess my problem with most of Bitly is that the colors are too similar to default. With 8x8, there is not much room for design, so the only thing you really have left is color. When it's basically the same as default, it's not very appealing.
I'll try to work on the emeralds (just noticed my shadows are yellow and highlights are blue), but the log in that tutorial isn't pixel art... i've tried converting it... (didn't work...) but i actually would like it if FishyMint did some of those tutorials for pixel art, as they are very helpful. (Look at the embedding on my ores...)
@samohtj
Personally I like the GUI's design enough to overlook the visibility, but that's just me ^^;
Anyway, I've been working on some mod textures for an unreleased mod, and I was wondering if I could get some advice on this shale. I redid it after deciding to vary my stone types, but I'm unsure if the new shale looks better or not.

I'm afraid I'm naturally biased to the more familiar older version, and it's the change that makes me wary of the new one, so I'd like a second opinion

Well, it is default themed. ;-; It's been that way since the beginning ._.
I would definitely say the old shale looks better, more shape to it and easily identifiable. The new one has some harsh horizontal tiling eye hurting line.
And here some more of my stuff in before I die of sleep deprivation:
Embedded the ores a bit more
New plank types above the corresponding log type
New stone brick
New netherrack next to the obisdian-top right
I know there's tons of solid colors, I still have to do shading with only 4 colors.

It ended up being nothing like what I had originally planned. It's the furnace of death, instead.

Trinitrotoluene is the name of an explosive compound that's usually shortened to TNT.

Kinda makes me think of "Toxic Green Acid Gems", but at least now it's not as flat.
I like that.
