.......I don't use the items.png or terrain.png
My pack has long been updated for the 1.5 format. I don't use, nor need to use sheets.
My issue is the new patch that updates from the new 1.5 format, to the newer 1.6 format bugged my pack to the moon and back and then back again.
Most of that dithering is useless, it's not really adding anything to the texture because it's too faint. Either make the contrast higher between the lightest shades or just turn it into pixel clusters instead of dithering.

Doesn't look like the components are stuck together at all. In fact the arrow heads don't even look like they're from the same texture pack.
The idea with these arrows is that the heads are locked into place by a notched slot whittled inside the shaft, accounting for the fact that no binding materials are used in the crafting recipe; just a stick, a feather, and some flint.
Beautiful work.
Ok, now, I will just list my thoughts and suggestions:
Even with full brightness, it's very dark. I think it might be possible for it to have a dark gritty look and still be a bit brighter. It takes some getting used to That's a personal preference so you need not mind.
Blue wool is a bit harsh because of the pixelwork and high contrast, maybe manually antialias it a bit or put a light blue colour in the pattern where it's whiteish now. You can stick thorns out a bit further on cactus. Taper the blue bright lines in the torch animation a bit so the thickness is not to even (gorgeous torch). Brick feels a bit more like paving brick. Vertical CTM for sandstone for tiling maybe? The flower pots came out lovely, the glass effect works. The birch wood planks look great as walls. Ores might be a bit too square. Nether is AWESOME, as are the quartz blocks. Endereye portal insert is missing a texture, dunno if you forgot. I feel like there should be some transparency in spruce leaves. Slow down animation on redstone torch? feels a bit frantic, same for diamond sword. You have a lot of really cool block animations. Rain is good, maybe too fine resolution. Rain splashes on ground too blueish. Redstone particle is a bit faint. I am getting some glitchy cloud edges, maybe MCpatcher botched something. There's a tendency for the dark pits in your textures to be too wide and swallow up the edges alot.
This is the best enchanting table I have seen, the end.
I hope that doesn't sound negative; I am really impressed by this.
The brightness thing is a bit confusing for me, i really don't know how to fix it aside from looking into lightmaps a bit more. I think the new skybox makes things look really dark durning the day though due to how bright it is, so i think ill make the sky a darker gray as id originally intended and see what that does to the rest of the textures my contrast.
I don't really like any of my wools all too much. I was thinking of redoing them all once the colored clay comes out.
As for the cactus, the thorns go to the edge of the texture.
Anything stone related... such as stone, ores, stonebricks, sandstone, bricks, etc. are planned to be completely redone. I hate all of them, so no worries there. I do plan to keep the herringbone brick pattern, but check out the mojang splash screen on my pack, ill redo the texture to something like that.
I did indeed forget the ender eye insert, ill get on that.
And as for spruce leaves, consider them a placeholder. Notice how my snow biomes are ash? The spruce trees will be redone with smouldering leaves using animated random ctm and charred trunks.
I have no idea what to do about the clouds. No matter what i do with them, they're glitchy like that.
Anyway, thanks for having a look at it. It will be tons better once i've redone some stuff, especially stone, since that's the one texture i feel that's really bringing down the pack.
(I think I come here to much)
It looks a bit flat still. I think it could use some lighter shades.
If the mouth is going to be that wide, it should continue onto the sides of the head.
Not just making that one shade lighter, I mean actually add another color for brighter areas.
I like them as they are, but I agree that this could make them a bit better
I've been here for a loooooooooong time.

I know the purple one currently isn't in use, but it took a minimal amount of effort to copy-paste the finished top one and just recolor it.
I like it! Always thought the arrows were confusing, for some reason, though, so that may be why I think its awe inspiring

But.. but it looks cool.

You guys know we have to have a contest for this now.
Oh hey guys, I'm back
Great minds think alike ;p

I would actually LOVE a DB 32 color palette challenge.
I'm actually interested as well.
