Sometimes posting my work-- even if no-one comments-- causes me to take a new look at what i've done and see flaws i wouldn't notice without the virtual public exposure.
Is the Curse download widget working? Mine hasn't appeared on my thread for about a week now yet its withing the BBCode. Can someone tell me if they see it and if its only me having the problem?

I hadn't been paying attention earlier, but there's no curse widget in mine or your thread at the moment. You really should include a regular link to curse, if not an alternate download. Its been flaky in the past.

I've started making new textures for a new pack. Any feedback so far?
This is, on left: Grass side and dirt, grass top, stone, mossy cobblestone, & cobblestone.
On right: Mossy, cracked, and regular stone bricks.

I'm in love with your grass side and stone bricks. Cobblestone, not so much. Maybe it's the two colors that conflict for me?
@Bluberry (Can I call you Barry?)
The grass should have the highlights more centered, so it looks a bit rounder.
I can't see cobblestone being made from your stone, they look far too different to be the same material.
I'm not sure how well scale stone works, either.
The stone brick is nice, though. It could be better, but it's not bad. Maybe add some detail to the inside of the brick that pokes out?

You've got some common blocks done. IMHO you should be looking at these in Minecraft and sharing screenshots, if you really want to understand how these will look. Context is King in the visual world.
I'll be livestreaming some more work on that vector pack for a few hours, if anyone cares to watch. I'll be finishing up the ores, and maybe starting some logs. I'll post the results here when I'm done.

Stream's over.
Here's what I got done:
Nice variation and style, I especially like the gold.
Ehh... in my opinion they're pretty bad. They sort of look like cut-and-pasted flowers from many different pictures, shabbily edited colors, onto waxy leaves. I like some of your other stuff though I'm not partial to photo realism, but the flowers, especially the pink ones, are not great.
What will the redstone wire be in your pack? It looks like it mostly takes after vanilla's theme, so if you're going to have redstone wire as dust, like in vanilla, maybe make it bleed into the surrounding stone a bit more, since it's powdery.
Definitely very realistic. I am 99% sure that those are actually photo cutouts. There's nothing wrong with making a photo based pack of course. I've considered doing it myself, since i do a lot of photography anyway. .
In all seriousness, after looking at your pack I am very disappointed at the rampant use of stock images. While they exist as nice textures, it is a bit dishonest to call it "your" texture pack when you really haven't "created" any of your own textures. Suffice to say, it is packs like yours that frustrate me as a texture artist working in high definition as others often perceive my work as nothing more than what you have done when in fact I have created it myself.
But at the moment, i'm really happy with this.

More sand.
I'm really happy with it now
Looks much better, but the transition from light to dark is really harsh now. It would look better with some anti-aliasing.
For example:

Stock photos ftw!
