I'm using the C64 palette with C64 restrictions (Oh yeah!).
Honestly, my textures seem pretty bland, so I may redo a lot of them, but for now, it works.
I may also change the sky color in a pack for the current version to be the background color of the textures, could look cool and make it look more C64ish.
So, everyone here is using their own palette? In that case, can I submit two, or if not, replace the other one? Because (sorry Peyton, but...) that one has too many similar shades for me, and I think this one would work better for me.
The moss looks ok from that angle, but on top or bottom of a block it would look weird. The stone also looks pretty good, but I think it could use one more lighter shade in between stones if your palette has one.

So, I'm gonna use this one.
I guess you can submit more than one palette— I don't see why not. Added.
Looking great everyone, we seem to have the most participation here I've seen with a challenge in a long time.
Here's my work so far:

Well, I tried out my second palette and came up with some "cobbled" up some cobblestone. I'm liking the look of stone textures using browns rather than greyscaled colours.

Looks nice, but I think that it could use a highlight color.
I may not be too crazy about my textures, but I think they look better in-game.
I'm still not convinced, though. I may experiment with a few more palettes before I decide. And guess what, I have that luxury because I don't have hundreds of textures to do! Yay!
Its a texture with two colors so there wasn't much I could do with it, but funny how some things work out like that.
Here's a screenshot though:
Don't worry I already changed the leaves. I think I'll change the glass color too. I really like this, especially with the C64 restrictions I've placed on myself. I think it may be a cop-out to go with pure green for grass and pure white for snow, but I like the way it looks and don't want to bother with them.
I think it would also be interesting to make the background color black but maybe I'll do that after finishing this pack. (this may not sound like a big deal, but with C64 restrictions, it can be huge)

Fix the tile error on the stone and you'll be golden
What do you think? I'm not sure I like all of them.
I guess the sand isn't finished, But I really like the other stuff.
The iron and gold ore are probably going to be changed.
(This is the N.E.S. palette, in case anyone doesn't know.)

Edit: using
Cobble:
Might give this a go, after I recover from my internet-based disorientation due to being away for a week.
So, I'm gonna use this one.

The stone is a nice style, and I really like the redstone ore, but the log top could use some extra detail.
