If you are wanting some texture packs to review, be prepared for lots of requests .
Oh, and you can check out the two in my signature if you so desire.
Wow that's very kind of you to offer this kind of help!
There are a lot of struggling texture-pack authors out there who don't get the attention they deserve and this could be great for them!
I won't say I need much attention because I've got my fair share but I would love if you wanted to do a review of my textures.
I haven't released any of my 3/4 of my texturepacks though so you could review the one working one, or have a brief look at all of them I guess (I could send you the unreleased packs)
Personal vision? I like to make minecraft into another game, to use the default game as an engine. I try to make my textures as themed as possible to completely change minecraft's feel rather than just alter it a bit.
As of 2; there are four packs
1. (The complete pack) - Corsia Craft - A 16x modern and RPGish texturepack optimised for server and creativemode.
2. (Next most complete) - Steamy - A 16x steampunk exploration themed pack for survival mode and servers.
3. (Crowd Favorite) - Stalag Bergwerk - 32x World War Two themed pack, specifically based on "The Great Escape" good for puzzle maps.
4. (My Favorite but least done) - Colonial Rich - a 32x colonial themed pack in the theme of "Last of the Mohicans" or Age of Empires 3.
Once again, thank you for doing this, not from me but from the other artists out there who desperately need exposure.
And If you are going to do this for any of mine please message me so I can send you the relevant things...
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't responded here lately. I'm currently building my second custom map. So I've put all my youtube video recording on hold. But once the map is done (hopefully a few weeks) I'll be back with the TP demos! I'll let you now via PM when I'm about to do yours.
Okay minecrafters! Today I have finally reopened my recording time back to texture pack videos (uh resource pack). I will be getting to any pack submitted to me.
1. Blue_ Dragon360
2. Happy, clean, and calm, yet detailed summer-spring pack.

You have my thanks if you do it.
The download link has currently decided to spontaneously downgrade to 1.5, I will have it resolved by Tuesday by the latest.
Keep in mind it is still in beta, so ugly and/or underdetailed and/or buggy textures are (usually) marked for change, so in the video you can just mark that out.
Okay, I am slowly moving down the list. Seems every time I update the map, Mojang puts out more stuff. Anyway, the map is now updated for the flowers, fish, podzol, packed ice, and mobs spawn perfectly. So get your art ready because I prefer to do packs with completion.
Don't forget to try and showcase as much ctm as possible most of the 90%+ complete packs cosist of 80/90/99% ctm (including other mcpatcher features) or more. I see lots of pack reviews where they do not cover ctm at all, it is sad really. Or they look at the ctm but do not realise what it is.
Maybe contact the pack creator and have them explain some of their ctm or open the pack yourself and look through the ctm folder (or the whole mcpatcher folder).
I just think it would make your reviews stand out from the crowd
As said above, lots of packs contain CTM (Connected Textures Mod, not Complete The Monument), and with your map only showing single blocks by themselves, you're not really showing it.
Also, Looking back on my previous post, don't showcase Dragonoid Craft. It's horrible.
CTM - connected texture mod? Is this when a group of blocks become one large image? There are lots of walls, floors and ceilings in my map that do this. But honestly guys, a video that showcases all of this, would be WAY too long. I won't be spending the time to show every connected texture, it's just way too much sorry.
This is where as texture pack artists, you guys need to understand that no video will EVER catch every detail you've put into it.Having said that, we have areas in the map that clears show spruce, grass, glass, wool, etc CTM. I'm not which blocks are commonly connected. Maybe you guys can list them for me.

Well, CTM doesn't just include connected horizontal and vertical textures, it also includes things like "random" and biome-specific CTM. I'd say that putting some of the more common suspects in the map (glass, bookshelves, sandstone, dirt, stone, (wool and grass are already covered), maybe others) would be sufficient to at least demonstrate CTM's capabilities.
^Yes, nothing major, we're not asking you to do a full CTM-displaying setup for every block. Just something minor on some blocks to prove that sufficient CTM exists.
I don't mind trying to enhance the map with more connected textures but I do not want to alter the single block labelled structure. I really enjoy the fact that you can walk around each block individually. If we need to see CTM better, then I do that with walls, floors and ceilings.
I guess I could extend bookshelves, dirt and stone somehow. I already have plenty of sand stone.
What would be biome-specific - like tall grass and flowers?
When you are done reviewing, post in my thread. Then I will put that in my OP
It's nice to finally be ready again. My suggestion though is if you could have all blocks textured even up to Red Sand. There are about 6 or 7 here I think I am going to do.
1. Either as Visual or Bethamez (PMC Name)
2. Warm and somewhat RPG-ish
3. Male
4. Right Here, or on it's respective PMC Page
Thanks ^.^

Always, but the list is getting bigger.

Well, it isn't very common, and I haven't seen it done with blocks yet, but it is sometimes used on mobs. It isn't really a priority, though.
