According to Samohtj I cant make it 11x11, so I really dont have a choice. Unless you know a way to make it 11x11? If you do please tell me and I will fix it.

I shouldn't really have said that you can't make it odd resolution. You can, but it's going to be a little messed up. You'll have to do some experimenting in game to find where all the pixels should go. And, a few of the sides of the chest may end up having something-and-a-half pixels on it, and the lock thingie might be a little messy.

Oh ok, I will see about fixing that then. Sorry if I seem kinda clueless, this is actually the first time I've textured a chest.
Edit:
I found a way to format the image files to have 11 by 11 chests that dont look too weird. One of the major issues was some of the faces on the chest image were trying to take a half of a pixel from the neighboring face. To solve this I put an extra buffer pixel between all of the ones doing that. I think it came out pretty well, if anyone wants a template for 11by11 chests ide be happy to post mine.
Heres my latest progress. I have gold, coal, emerald, lapis, redstone, and diamond blocks as well as both types of pistons. This is the smallest resolution i've ever worked with, I hope the pack is coming out well. Suggestions are welcome.
I've created regular sandstone. I think it fits pretty well in 11 by 11. On a side note im surprised more people arnt participating in this challenge, where is everyone?

I got discouraged after I realized that I suck at extremely low-res textures and went off to do textures for the Iron Chest mod while I thought of a new plan of attack.
At this point I doubt I could get in before the deadline, so that's my excuse.

That's too bad, it would have been fun to have you in the competition. I'm not the best at low res myself, so I'm doing the challenge for practice. I feel kinda guilty that I've taken such a long break from Petrean Kin though.
I had thought these texture challenges usually got a lot more hype. I was expecting to see all the more seasoned texturers like stealfeathers participating, yet there are only a few people doing it. I guess people just don't like odd resolutions.

Don't worry. It's good to take a breather ever once and a while.

Challenges have kind of fallen out of vogue recently. For a while we were having so many that people kind of got sick of them.
This is very nice. I especially like the dirt, great color choice. I'm not a huge fan of the cobblestone though. The chunks of rock seem a bit undefined, although that may be somewhat because its such a small resolution. Great work overall.
@tmt97
All of your textures seem a bit too...noisy...
Anyway, more stuff.
Dors, stained glass, quartz things, jungle things, and pumpkins. I added a lighter brown for the quartz, so thaat it's not the same colour as the sandstone and iron. My jungles are going to look very pink and sugary
Also, that thing at the bottom-right will probably be the pack.png.
Nether, mushrooms, melons, hay, tallgrass, fern and redstone torches. I made the netherwart literal warts XD
Also, new iron block. The old one just looked stupid.

Thanks for the feedback. I recently started experimenting with adding noise in my textures and I may be overdoing it a bit. Your pack is coming along great by the way. You make very interesting. Color choices, I like it. I've never seen a pink jungle but from what I've seen of the leaf and log textures, I think the jungles will look fantastic. I'm not sure I like the color for the iron though. It just looks too yellow to me. Not the way metal should look.

Here is the palette that I am using:
It is based on one by BonreoCat, but I have been addng in more colours as I need (6 so far). I'm not treating this like a palette challenge, I already did one of those
I'm making the jungle pink, because jungle planks are pink, and I couldn't find any colours in the palette that went well with the pink that I had chosen for the planks, other than a darker pink or purple.
As for the iron block, as you can see, there isn't muh as grey goes in the palette. That, combined with the fact that that maroon-to-sandy-yellow run was labelled as 'metallic' in the original palette, is why I have chosen to make my metallic stuff that colour. Only problem is that it's the same colour as sand :\

Looks good, reminds me of Jungle Ruins in a way
All sandy things and wood.
Yes, my jungle logs are pink bamboo.
