Hello! Supertrentyguy here, and I am going to show you my hand-drawn texture pack! I don't think anyone has actually done this before, but I have a drawing pad and I thought "Hey, I should make a hand-drawn texture pack!". And then I made a hand-drawn texture pack. Keep in mind I am not an "Artist". I am simply a [REDACTED] year old kid, so it's not gonna be perfect. I am using Adobe Flash CS6 to draw these, because the lines smooth out. Also, I will be working on this daily. Let's hope I don't forget... I know things are gonna get tough when I come to the block tiling, but I shouldn't worry about that now. What I SHOULD worry about is the items. I also started working on this when I had no internet connection, so I can do it if I do have internet, if I have no internet, it'll all be fine!
Here's a screenshot of me working;
Ignore the ponies. Also, as you can see, I am on a mac. NEXT!
Next I shall show you some screenshots of my texture pack. NOTE: This is all of what I have so far.
Let me know if you need me to change anything as I go along!
very like cartoony vibe to it i like it so far... i hope you make the armor unique looking not like a retextured normal armor... also i hope and insist that when you do paintings that you make some cool custom paintings including like abstract art or something...i will definitely want to see more as you go along!

Yay! I hope to make stuff like that. BTW, how can I make retextured armor if I'm drawing? Just wond--OH! I get what you're saying. Do I? But, yeah, I think the paintings might be great. This texture pack will definitely help me with my art skills! If I have any.

what i meant was most texture packs i see keep the armor looking the same and only a hand full actually alter the appearence of the armor
Definite potential, really like where it's heading though pay attention to some details, little things like the fill popping out of the crafting GUI (http://i.imgur.com/atwo3iT.png) and some jagged-looking edges. Also pay some mind to the colors, for example the background behind the player in the crafting GUI looks somewhat tacky with how neon-bright it looks.
Other than that, keep it up, you can do nothing but improve.

Yay! Thank you! I AM SO HAPPY! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING RIGHT! Also, I do that for the more "Hand drawn" look, because, seriously, who colors inside the lines? And another thing; I didn't save the inventory or gui .fla file. :c I have to completely re-do it.
Recommend cleaning up the edges a little bit, remember minecraft can't handle/render any anti aliasing along the outer edges of its textures. It either has to be fully visible , or not.
a.k.a it has to be like the top, not the bottom. Any partly transparent pixels will end up rendering fully visible and look very weird if not buggy. I'm seeing it with your tools and it makes the outerlines very ugly looking. A very quick clean up along all the objects edges will fix it.

Hey, it's you again! But don't worry, I'll work on that. I already did that for the items, but for some reason I thought the gui could handle that.
ALSO! Not replying to taline on this part, but I WILL be working on this TODAY! Let's hope I don't forget.
This is a very interesting idea! I handdraw many of my item textures, but I like how you've made the lines very thick. I wonder how you're going to do the blocks though...
Anyone can be an artist! You're doing a pretty good job of it now.
Edit: I meant to say I handdraw some of my item textures. The rest I model in blender, or take pictures of in real life.
i read the title of this and thought "i have seen to many horrible drawn texturepacks" but decided to check it out anyway, and by poseidons left nipple am i glad i did. this is awesome my friend, keep up the good work!

Yay! Thank you, I plan to work on it daily. I hope I don't forget about it, I started it yesterday when I had no internet, and this is what I did.

Oh! Ok! I most likely won't do that, but I'll try!
Don't worry! I will! :3

Great job so far, I WANT THIS!
Well, if you use a tablet that is.
Edit: Also, just thought. It would be true if you used a mouse too.
