It's fairly simple and I'm not going to make it a mind blowing design post post but I do need an artist who can create a custom texture pack. It's not all the textures though, it's just guns. The rest of the minecraft textures can be kept the same. The texture pack is for a server, and your name will be put on the server on a sign somewhere saying that you made the textures. Also, please have a skype ready and be willing to add guns in the future if needed.
NOTE: Please make sure you have a good amount of time to work on this from now to about 4 weeks, and expect to have it done by then. Plus, be good at making gun textures. (32 x 32)
Have you considered instead asking a texture pack artist/owner you like to add gun support for your gun mod to his pack instead?
That's a bit more beneficial to the artist, because it gets his pack regularly used on a server. I'm pretty sure a lot of artists would love having their pack the standardized for a popular MC Server.
It's just an idea, I only mention it because the amount of work you're requesting may be a bit much for people to be willing to whip-up on the fly, but my opinion on that may be bias because I'm in the middle of a huge project myself and I just couldn't find time to also do other textures on the side. So you can take that for what it's worth.
You should also mention how much work you need done, you mention is may be a lot. But a lot doesn't translate well in our world. People come on here all the time asking for an entire texture pack thinking making a "quick 16x16 pack" takes a day or 2, when in reality a good one could take months. So since you're not an artist (I assume since you're asking for help? ) your opinion of a "lot" of work may be too much to be done in a 4 week time frame... or hell, it might be cake and someone could knock it out in an hour.
That's actually some good in put there. The reason I'm not asking specifically to add on to a texture pack that they made is simply because it may not go well with the server. If it goes well, then I will have no problem using it, but our maps are normally made for the default texture. And when I say a lot it's about 39 guns right now and then a few tweaks here and there that are quick.
With 39 guns, a big key people will probably need to know is are most of the recolors like wood, stone iron, gold and diamond tools? Doing say, 3-4 basic gun types but having 10 color versions of each is a much simpler task than if you have 39 different guns all with their own (even similar) artwork.
For example, if I were to do 39 guns to match my texture pack (just as an example) it would probably take about 2 weeks solid, unless most of them are recolors, then depending on how many original guns their are it could still take a week or so.
I stated above it is 32 x 32, but the style is up to the artist as long as you can tell what the gun is. So yeah, they will be different, and I don't know what you mean by re-texturing stone, iron, diamond, etc tools.

Well, what I mean is, take MC for example. If you asked someone to remake new versions of the pickaxe, axe, shovel, sword and hoe.. you're technically asking for 25 textures (1 for each ore type). But, really the artist only has to do 5 textures (one for each tool) and then recolor them.
So in the case of your guns, are we talking 39 different guns that all have their own unique artwork, or a handful of original gun artwork but a lot of them just get recolored?
But it sounds like you're starting off with 39 different guns, that being the case I'm guestimating it'll take a good artist about 2 weeks to do it right, if he dedicates all his time to it.
