Alright, I started over from scratch since I were using the colors in the picture I submitted (Yeah, should read rules, right?).
I'm using Dyscord's image.
It's amazing what colors you can get out of some images..
Okay, thanks
If it turns out good, i might continue this texture pack and release it on its own thread (if that's allowed)
And aww, creating a palette was more of a challenge than i thought... I've chosen the Planted picture and it got a big lack of yellow color. All the yellow-alike is too brownish
And thanks to some boat i got the perfect purple color
My picture for your pallete?
Ah yes, not much yellow, but you don't need all that much anyways, and it adds to the challenge
(All excuses for a poorly chosen picture)
And yes, you can release it, it's your property.
Also you get a trophy if you win to put on the thread.
Nooooooooo its not WOW
I hate wow! it consumed Warcraft III.
These screenshots (terrain templates as they're called) are made by the best warcraft 3 terrainers on hiveworkshop.com
Oh and btw, nice picture you've got there, didn't know it's yours All others lack many colors, while yours has them all except for yellow (and actually i found some yellow in some towers im happy with)
EDIT:
Here's my palette :3
It can contain a total of 121 pixels (its 11x11, just enlarged), but currently i use less. As i progress i might need some new colors
EDIT2: Quick question, should we paint our grass with the green palette and then desaturate or paint it directly with the black/white palette for grass and plants that are game-recolored?
Paint your biome colored stuff with the pallete and then go into your biome shading images and make them 100% white.
I made a few textures already and realized that my palette is not that rich
When i was painting it in Paint.NET, i thought "what this is, it looks horrible". But then i looked ingame and it looked really nice! Have a look:
Awesome! Those sand patterns always looked weird... in a good way though...
Looks awesome so far!
It's been that was since like 2 weeks ago.
Awesome!
You can do CTM if you want, it might get you more votes, but the terrain.png is the only thing you HAVE TO do.
And chests / enderchests.
Is that all WoW?
Woah. I seriously need to get back into that.

Cool progress! I like planks,

I don't really like redstone, but it's okay.
You definitely should change coal though, you can't really see it.
My image has no grey! Stupid stone!
*procrastinates until last second to do stone and ores*
Although, I did make a good obsidian!
What image? I'm sure I could find a little grey.
I shall be using Gigfran's MoP screenshot. =D
Cool! I look forward to your entry!
Thanks Plenty!
Taadaaaaaa! Tiled 3x3, 300x magnification.
Here is the picture I will offer to the library:
And here is the picture I'd like to use:
Probably going to go with 32x resolution. We'll see how I feel after playing around with my pallette.

What do you guys think?
I've only worked on a couple of blocks since last night, but here they are so far:
Top to bottom: bedrock, dirt, smooth stone, cobblestone. Ugh, need to fix that tiling error on the cobble.
Grass, of course.
None of them are considered finished- I just go a little mad if I work on one texture for too long, so I switch around.
I personally think that I suck. Give it a try; it can't hurt!
