This texture pack was once called Piratecraft, but I decided to make it more reallistic and generally change the theme. I'm going to do two versions, regular, (don't have a good title yet...) and Maritime/Nautical. The first version will be based more on construction and cities, and the second will be based more on adventure, sticking to the original pirate theme.
Screenshots:
Possible cobblestone. The planks are now the jungle variety, and the frame on the glass will be changed.
All ores except for coal.
Redstone lamp and piston.
TNT is a barrel of gunpowder.
Iron block and a gold block which will be tweaked.
Rails and detector rail.
Netherrack and glowstone. Glowstone is like an ore in the netherrack. Glowstone texture is subject to change.
The only critique i can think of is the cobblestone, which appears to have a problem with vertical tiling, and the stone, which IMHO is waaay too dark. Caves are going to be horrendously dark with it, and how will it differ from obsidian (purple hue?) or bedrock? The coal is pretty much invisible between the black rocks.
Yeah- I know. I wanted it to look volcanic. I've thought about the caves and they're really not that bad- you just have to turn the brightness up a bit. My main concern is the invisible coal. Obsidian will look different, don't worry, I have some plans. I'm thinking about making the bedrock something other than black. I thought about making the stone light, like limestone or granite, but that didn't really work out. I may make coal a lighter gray. I know about the cobblestone. I'm going to redo it. I'm not very happy with it. Add more depth. I'll make the bow a musket.

Maybe instead of a white stone, you could make it crystalline? Basically turn the bedrock into quartz crystals
That could work out with your style and provide the contrast that you seek.

Emerald.
Feedback is much appreciated.
Thanks.
A modern, industrial, post apocalyptic texture pack by me, Venciera.
Yeah- that's how I want it. A bit creepy.
Wow, It looks really good! I think you should go with a musket. (:
