Thank you so much! It's my first time 'painting'. I usually draw an outline on Flash and then color in my graphics program, this is a whole new concept to me. I really need a tablet, drawing with ones mouse gets tedious heh =)
So if im to keep with the overgrown theme, would a border on the painting give me some credit? The in game shots just look too flat without a border for depth.
You could, but I think we need a standard for in-game shots. If providing an in-game shot, please use default textures as some may judge on the texture pack used to showcase the painting too without realizing it :/
'Any Colour You Like' was playing when I was reading the OP... Somehow made me feel like pulling this out from about a ~45 min sketch (Not an entry unless you want to... I just like to have fun )
I'll certainly try and enter this time around. I have a decent idea I think, just need to pull it off.
As for interpretations, I think there's more than just an actual prism. Prismatic can really just mean "many bright colors".
Rainbow
Light reflecting off a shiny object
A field of colored flowers
Someone tripping on LSD!
A brightly colored nebula
A pile of diamonds

That's made with MSpaint. Not even Paint.net... nope, MSpaint.
Just saying! You can make good art in any program.

I do not use photoshop - I use a 2004 version of Jasc Paint Shop Pro to edit/create my things.
This was also done in MS Paint -

Great minds think alike?
it's obvious it was done for the pink floyd references, really
just a tip:
try to make challenges that can be interpreted in many different ways.. thats what WTC does, anyway.
i'm intrigued
