I'm here with a new pallette challenge for you. The pack will only contain these 6 shades of gray.
The contest will end on June 1st, so good luck.
The winner will get a shiny gold medal for their signature.
Please note, this rated a 9/10 on my scale of difficulty for packs.
Here's the pallette:
The winner is........ Eric!!!! Good work! Please note, this was a close competition and we loved all the packs that were sent to us.
It's not much. The texture on the left is an undecided stone-of-some-sort texture, leave feedback on what it should be. The next texture over is running furnace, the one right after that is not-running furnace, and the last one is dispenser.
Yes, I know it sucks somewhat...
I think the one on the left should be square stone bricks
I did more of the terrain. I'll take pictures in game later today. I'm still stuck on dirt and stone. I just can't find a way to make them look good. And those are arguably the two more important blocks. I'll figure something out eventually.
I really like your challenges, even if I'm not going to try them myself, because I love seeing how creative people can get with extremely limited supplies. Looking at what others have made gives me a lot of a good ideas for texture packs that I hope to make someday .
I vote for this dude! After seeing this, I might not even try...
Turek... Wait for more people to enter before you just say "I think we have a winner" and all that. And please still try. If you give up whenever you see something that is done better than yours, you won't get anywhere.

Yeah, I thought it was hard working with only six shades of gray. Then I realized that "The legend of Zelda - Link's awakening"
Only has Four shades of gray. and those artists still managed to make it look good.

Why won't you be doing it? that looks great! Or are you not doing it because if you did, no one else would have a chance to win?
XD
No, you don't have to do fire, water, lava, gui, or anything past the terrain.png

OMG! I'm such an idiot! I meant the one on the left
*facepalm*
And by square stone bricks, I mean the decorative one that can only be acquired in creative.

Also, I made some ore textures. If you can easily guess which ores they are, my mission is accomplished.
