So, I'm using GIMP, and with various files, I can only do certain colors. Like the endermen. It seems that no matter what color I select, it always comes out as black, magenta, or pink. Just those three colors.
It's not as bad with the zombies, but I can't seem to use any shade of red, and if I try white, I get a grey instead.
Still, if I want this texture pack to come out like I want it to, I'll need to know how to fix this, or if there's a way around it.
Thank you in advance!
Awesome. thanks! took me a while to find "mode." If anyone else is reading this thread for help, mode is in image.
Anyways, pretend I just gave you a giant cookie. You're welcome.
If you want some more options as to effects and other thingiemajigs, you might want to give Photoshop(choose the trial version) or Paint.Net a try.
Photoshop is an absolute lifesaver for me.
yeah, you've got to watch it, many of the files you might want to edit start out indexed.

It’s the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out.
I’d rather be in, in a good system. That’s where my discontent comes from:
being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin’ straight ahead.
Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."
