I tried to figure out if Jungle Wood is based on a real tree (like Acacia or Oak, ya know) and the best I can find is MAYBE Kapok? But the color is not Kapok colored. However, while researching tropical trees, I did discover my one and only answer to this not-a-real problem. Peltogyne, aka "Purpleheart" wood, which is naturally purple when oxidized. I tried to find any resource pack for purple wood and found none, so I did make my own.
Did I sleep last night? Not enough, but now I have Purple Jungle Wood and my life is better for it.

This resource pack replaces the ambiguous "Jungle Wood" with Purpleheart Wood. All wood assets are recolored to match the new, purple wood.
